How many strikes does it take to get a exotic?
I have filled the quest for the fusion rifle and didn’t get a one so its more than 40. Really bungie a grind is one thing this is a total nightmare. Does anyone know what you have to do to get forsaken exotics? Its definitely not strikes or the weekly bounties I am running out of things to try.

Got my exos this week from EP and Crucible (Antaeus and Ursa Furiosa) & a Sparrow from a Strike on my Hunter, Nightfall 100K I Dropped Lucky Pants, and then doing the Flying Anoos in Broken Courier I got Shards of Galanor. picked up the cold heart Catalyst as well last night as well.

One dropped for me on my 36th strike while grinding for Loaded Question. It was Otherside, the strike playlist sparrow. [spoiler]Joke's on you, Bungie, I've been wanting it to drop since you added it to the game.[/spoiler]

Challenging activities drop exotics more frequently. Strikes are not challenging activities, the light cap has even been set low to reflect that. Nightfall’s weekly milestones, weekly powerful bounties, raids, etc... all reward exotics at an increased rate.

Literal f**king bullshit. I'm assuming it's because I don't have any addons or expansions and activision/Bungie probably has a code/law written into the game that does not allow players with the base game to get exotic weapons or armor from strikes. I've also noticed I pretty much never get exotic engrams to drop in general. Outside getting exotics from completing the weekly events I've gotten 2, maybe 3 exotics to drop from a random enemy. Total. Since I first started playing. Lol.I'm 100% positive Bungie does this on purpose to force people to buy the expansions. If you don't have the newest xpansions your chances of getting exotics decreases a lot.

The latest exotic I got was Darci but I already have that -blam!-in gun you dumb cunts. Smart loot my -blam!-ing arse.

ive done my 40 gambit matches have 7 strikes left and havent gotten an exotic from any of the strikes or gambit matches i got a year 1 helm that was immediately decomped because it was lower than my average light level already from the petras 8 daily bounties bounty and thats been all ive got for weeks
