It struck me that the leftover human remains after exo conversion might be resurrectable by a ghost.
I think the most likely scenario is that the bodies are cremated, but it is BrayTech and they were shady. What if the kept bodies for research? If original human remains were kept, would it be possible to see a Guardian exo and Guardian human from the same original?

1 ReplyThe question is I guess is do we actually understand how the brays made the exos. Yes we know the brays took human thoughts and brain in robotic body’s, but we haven’t worked it out to a exact science. We don’t no what the brays did to the brain, they could have taken out important neural trans ways and what not from the brain. We don’t know if they just wiped it. So the guardian without the certain parts of there brain isn’t whole. Nothing suggests that the exo brain is just a carbon copy of there original brain and the actual one still is in place in a different body(if the brays didn’t burn the body) But, if you think about it both ways you could be right. “Devotion inspires bravery, bravery inspires sacrifice, sacrifice leads to death.” So yes. A exos old body could be revived. Maybe. A human could be devoted to there families, which are in debt. They could then be brave enough to sign up for the exo program which is a sacrifice they make for there family. Which leads to the death of that body. There can be so many other situations but let’s stick with this one. The next question could be asked. Does the traveler really want to revive us for our body’s? If the traveler was only interested in our body’s then why do we have personality’s instead of mindless drones. The traveler revived us partly for our consciousness, which is the our awareness of living. It doesn’t need our body’s because we are revived constantly and we are completely destroyed yet new ones are made. If the traveler revives us for our consciousness then why would it revive a brain without a consciousness, instead it would revive its newer body with one. But then again the light works in mysterious ways and we don’t have it down to a exact science so we don’t know. Now last thing. It is stated in the destiny one lore that the light isn’t just from the traveler, and it surrounds all things (which I believe the traveler isn’t the only source of light but there is no room for opinion in scientific truth. Now if this statement is true would the exos light transfer from its human body to its robotic form? Again we don’t know the answer. So why did I write this when I don’t know the answer? Well it’s more of a Schrödinger's exo. We don’t know if the original body could be revived or not. But I encourage the out of the box thinking and the constant question asking to find the truth. Good job guardian. I’ll see you in the Stars.
dramatic video closing music
1 ReplyThey become spicy ramen and then in turn, said exo's first meal. That's why Cayde liked ramen so much, he always loved himself.

If you look at some of the random sketches in Caydes Treasure Island diary (the one that came with the Taken King), you'll see one in particular where it sort of shows the steps of becoming an exo. (Page 9, or the last page before the insert). This creepy heart wrenching little sketch makes me believe that they were humans who were augmented, as if the robot parts were built onto the human. Maybe some organic material was kept in order to make the exo feel more human, as a means to prevent that disassociation syndrome. Most of organic material was probably disposed of, but I feel as if the mechanical parts were built on top of the human, kinda like Robocop lol

1 ReplyThat’s actually a good question huh never thought about it

2 RepliesMost likely incinerated. It makes exos easier to control knowing the process is irreversible. Remember, this is shady Braytech we’re talking about.

2 RepliesIt's shipped to Fenchurch who converts the remains to bright dust.

1 ReplyIf a ghost revived the soulless remains, in theory, the guardian would still act normal. It depends on the extent that the traveller reprograms the new guardian’s mind.

1 ReplyThey were prolly incinerated by Clovis bray

1 ReplyThey get the ded.

1 ReplyThe human's consciousness has been removed from the body an placed in the exo. That body dies simply because the brain functions have been ripped out of it. Even if you were to revive a human that has gone through exo transfer, it would not have a consciousness and theref ore could not function. The Ghosts are keyed in to certain people with special personalities and human remains after exo transfer have no brains. In short, no.

It gets decomposed into nutrients for braytech military-grade MRE’s. The more you know👍

1 ReplyI think the chances are very small.
