Please change the one thousand voices drop mechanics bungie
Please can you revise how 1000 voices drops. It's extremely annoying when someone gets 1000 voices for the fourth time when you've completed the raid the same amount of times (26 times looted to be precise) and are yet to receive it. In D1, a much better game, when you receive a raid exotic (Vex Mythoclast) or rare legendary drop (nanophoenix) it takes it out of your loot pool which makes it more likely for others to receive the gun. No idea why D2 is not the same but all I can say is it's very depressing when someone breaks the weapon down in to 5 legendary shards because it's the fourth time it has dropped for them. The drop rate should at least in some way be tied to completions instead of complete luck and rng.

1 ReplyYeah your D1 logic doesn't hold water. Getting a rare drop never increased the chances of others getting it next time. It never worked that way. Just keep trying dude. I got the Wrath sparrow 3rd time I did hard mode. I know someone who did hard mode 160+ times before getting the Wrath shader. You win some, you lose some. Just keep trying

I agree. One clan member got 2 in one run. He had an extra key from the previous week and opened two chests and I have more clears and no drop. I'm about to give up on this game and I'm a beta D1 player... It's just no fun to not be rewarded for time in.

9 RepliesMy clan mate & I both have the 1k voices (12 LW completions each) I got it from the chest on my 3rd run, and then again from the chest on my 7th run. My clan mate didn’t have it, stacked some keys, did his 7th run and opened 2 chests and got 1k voices out of both. 2 other of my clan mates (12 completions each) neither have got the 1K, one only got the curated N.O.B on his 12th run, the other one still hasn’t got it. It’s just complete luck as it only spawns in 2 out of the 24 final room chests, it shouldn’t be related to time played or anything like that.

That's not at all how it worked, and someone getting a drop has absolutely nothing to do with your chances of getting that item.

3 Repliesi got twice in the same run. killed riven on each character so we all got 3 keys then did the queens walk. first 2 chests i opened were 1k voices which i already had prior to this raid
