In the night went men
in studded corslets
their shields glistened
in the waning moon
abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz
I tried to translate the text on a rock in the forge
i don't know how to link the picture
edit: the shield in the lost sector was still immune and had no UV glyphs or runes on it
I remember seeing a post about some runes found on Nessus. Does anyone have a clue where they might be located
edit 2: https://imgur.com/wS5dj9v found a picture of them. Will translate
edit 3: translation is complete nonsense, making new post about a map i found

4 RepliesEdited by Kemaleon: 12/6/2018 7:03:30 PMIs that the maze map behind one of the barriers you mentioned? I saw that, odd. Here is a pic I took of it. Its not a very good pic, but it shows an entry and exit arrow. Is this just a standard image thats been around a while?
IN THE NIGHT WENT MEN
There's a hidden set of several hands near a fire. If facing the forge spire to the right
IN STUDDED CORSELETS, THEIR SHIELDS GLISTENED
Perhaps a reference to the 2 symbols located in the center area of the forge? Both on tbe ground. Theres what appears to be a sun or a snowflake And close by on the ground is something that could also be a snowflake or a spawkle/twinkle. A 3rd symbol, that of a rain cloud could be what causes the glistening?
IN THE WANING MOON
There's a waning moon symbol also in the center of the forge area. Perhaps shooting them in order grant's some result?

1 ReplyDoes the auto rifle show the same symbols or does it show something different?

That last line is pretty cool ngl. It had a very interesting literary taste.
/s
1 ReplyFeels like a cypher. My GF is a LotR nerd and translated it all to be gibberish too. The fact that in the forge there are runes and english letters leads me to believe that there is somekind of re arranging or translating that we need to do.

1 ReplyThe quote is from a book about Old Norse literary and historical works, Northern European folklore, and medieval literature Just highlighting the ideas that help influence/create the 1st of the Forges and the weapon/armour style
-
3 RepliesThe shield reacts to solar melee hits. Try it maybe it requires 3 guardians to all hit it with a different melee? I know solar is first i hit it as a titan
-
3 RepliesAnyone else notice the sword with a name etched on it in the Forge area?
-
So apparently when you aim at these runes with the LMG you get morse code which reads into REVERSE, its lines on top of the runes itself, maybe translating it that way.

Volundr and the king of Niarar are mentioned. I guess it’s just real life lore about the maker of the forge.

I did too. Google it. I forgot
