BLACK ARMORY UPDATE!
Effective immediately, we’ve made some changes to the Power requirements for the Lost Forges of the Black Armory.
In [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4uK8ywYCdhI]previous conversations[/url] about the Season of the Forge, we discussed our new development goals. With the Annual Pass, we set out to deliver an extension to the Destiny 2 endgame. We want to create a series of aspirational challenges to keep your hobby fresh.
Over the past day, we’ve been taking in your feedback. It's become clear that we made the initial Power requirements for the Lost Forges too high, keeping those sweet new rewards out of reach. Some players at 600 Power have been unable to dive in and beat the final boss without grinding for new Power first.
We have just delivered a server-side update to reduce the Power requirements for all the encounters in the Lost Forges by five. We fully acknowledge that this is a small move, but it is the one that we can make today. This is not the full extent of the changes to the player experience that we are investigating, but it should give Guardians at 600 Power a better chance at completing the activity.
This response doesn’t answer all of your questions. There are still many of you asking how you can catch up and acquire the Power you need to join the quests to recover these Lost Forges. The answers to those questions are coming. We have some existing plans and some new ideas in the pipeline. That conversation will continue tomorrow in “This Week At Bungie.”

Oh I might give it a go now, I havnt even tried it once . Thought I'd get my power up to 610 but it's taking for ever with there low powered rewards. Somw light at the end of the tunnel., can probably start playing the game I paid for.

3 RepliesNot to throw fuel on the fire(okay, only to throw fuel on the fire) but destinytracker just took down their daily player count. This is typical when Bungie is entering a panic mode and numbers aren't good. Content was literally just released and the player base is slipping. Something is wrong. Start listening to your player base, not the hardcores or streamers, not the casuals, the average players that make up the mass majority.

2 RepliesI am not a streamer, playing this game isn't my job, I'm lucky to get 2 hours a night. I have attempted the forge with fandoms around 20 times and am yet to kill because I am under leveled with no more powerful rewards available until reset. This is a joke. Buy a season pass and can't even complete the first part. Sort it out.

2 RepliesThis topic will disappear shorty, Bungie will go on holidays ,they have our money ,so they really don't give a crap Maybe by January they will hit the panic button and respond,and fix it Even then I doubt they really will, they will make the usual we are listening post. Sorry I'm not buying it anymore to many times they screw us over,I really thought/ hope the forsaken was the start of better times ,but obviously I was wrong I hope Bungie and their streamers are happy now.

Because you literally can’t damage the boss for half the battle at times because of servitors shielding each other. They will literally all be immune. How does something so obviously broken make it into the game? It is inexcusably bad.

2 RepliesCosmo the mighty liar descends from the BS cloud to tell us how wonderful Bungle is to allow the peon players a chance to beat the Forge - how this man has not been fired for the lies escapes me. But it's SOOOOO EASY! The mighty streamers show us "how to do it" but in reality it's a godawful mess with spam enemies and no time to do anything but run. Sweet too for the 2nd round when you have to make an exact throw to hit the Forge - with enemies in front of you continuously. All I can say is that Bungle has managed to piss off most players with this travesty. Destiny 2 descends into irrelevance!

Your RNG based leveling system, rigged to extend playtime, makes leveling up more than 2 or 3 points a week as possible as winning the jackpot in a slot machine. So, almost one week after launch, my experience with Black Armory has been [url=https://imgur.com/a/ta4JOrX][b]THIS[/b][/url]. This leveling system is wrong. My time invested in the game is not being respected by it.

The forge is impossible in match making - there is no time at all to kill the boss... I’m light 612 and can get him past the second bar. This dlc is a complete waste of money and makes me doubt this annual pass was a good purchase

We were told jump in and get this new loot made it very simple or so it seemed , yet as we have seen it isn’t like that for a vast majority of the player base.. We have to grind old content over an over because they purposely locked us out of the new content we paid for.. No incentives just the same edge transit drops yet again. You have the very little amount of exceptions on here saying “ oh i did it at 600 “ , “ oh i soloed it “ but they are exceptions not the normal.. Reality is players are still today at 610/615 and unable to complete forges due to the stupid power levels of first forge , constant flinching from all the enemies , op enemy bullet sponges only designed to suck up time , orbs randomly doing weird stuff when thrown and many other badly thought out design factors .. This mode is now fast becoming a farce with matchmaking you solo into forge or if you are match made with good level players say at 620 they just leave the game.. People only play the game for FUN , when it stops being fun they will soon leave game , look for something else .. Whatever DEV decided it was a good idea to make this mode too hard , unachievable for so many thus removing the FUN aspect needs to be sacked as it has ruined the overall experience.

Now ive returned to play some new content and I can’t play it until I grind old content 1st? Who was stupid enough to allow this to happen? Surely it would’ve made a lot more sense to have multiple difficulties so the lower light level players can have new content to play AND the higher light level players also have new content to play. Correct me if I’m wrong but surely it’s not too hard to make a 3 tiered light level system? I mean destiny 1 had it for strikes and the raids. I just don’t understand the logic of the thinking of Bungie.

We got information about options for people still in the 550-600 grind, but nothing about the 600-615 range, which is where much of the outcry is coming from. It's a brick wall, the first content release in the games history that required a grind from previous max level to a new gear threshold before any of the new content would be accessible. That's what a campaign provides: something new to do that also loops a player into the new progression curve. As it stands, with milestones completed, I'll see you Tuesday, for a few hours, and if that round of drops goes like this one, it will be 3-4 weeks before unlocking the first forge is anything but frustration.

Since the update the forge has been alot better. But yo guys are going to continue to pay if you can't get it right for launch.
