I agree 100%, I started the expansion and was a little excited once I saw the first cut scene. not soon after I wandered around the black armory and said to myself "This is it?" this hyped up area is just a small room with weapons in bags. "alright" I thought to myself, when the next thing hit me, there is no milestone update other than complete the machine gun schematic. once again, I though "alright, might not be that bad" then shortly after that though I hovered over the image in my menu, and what do you know [KILL HIGH VALUE TARGETS WITH HEAVY]. why? why does killing powerful enemies help craft a weapon? why cant I go to some area of the map, find the pieces and make the gun like how you actually would. soon after this I looked online and found that nothing is accessible until later, and once again Bungie, the geniuses that they are time gated -blam!-ing everything. I want the last word, guess what -blam!-o, you gotta wait until the end of the month for some -blam!-ing reason, like WHY, why do I have to wait for shit I paid for? why can't everything be accessible straight out the gate, why do I have to -blam!-ing wait every god damn time something comes out, and on top of that they added more -blam!-ing weapons to the god awful RNG lootpool, MAKE THEM QUEST EXOTIC, I DON'T WANT TO PLAY 40 MORE HOURS OF YOUR SHITTY GAME FOR THE CHANGE OF GETTING SOMETHING NEW.
After following this game for years, i'm finally done, and I wont be returning back to this game. Time and time again they repeat the same mistakes and never fix anything, and when they do occasionally fix something, there is another shitty system in place, or bug that they then need to fix 6 months later. We complain that exotics are too easy, they decrease the drop rate to maybe 1 every 30-40 hours of game play, but don't add a knockout system, so after getting a golden boi drop you're always like I really -blam!-ing hope that that's not another exotic edge transit.
Concluding, -blam!- this game. they know what their doing, and they'll continue to do it until the DLCs life cycle ends, and it starts a new.

I agree. I’ll finish the content I paid for but there’s no September update next year for me. I’ll find something else to grind. I’ve never threatened or even hinted at leaving the absolute ball drop on this dlc just killed my love of this game

Your opinion will change, you will be hyped for the new content and you’ll most likely continue on with Destiny. People just have no patience and can’t see beyond today. The era of instant gratification.

So much fail in your post
So much fail in your post
Well yeah, that’s what I was describing; failure to be patient. Keep up.

First off whoa you’re upset Gotcha Secondly if it’s a shitty game (your words) I’ll offer a reasonable solution—don’t play it-like ever again. Problem solved sir. May I recommend one of the following : Horizon Zero Dawn The Witcher 3 Red Dead 2 God of War 4 Assasins Creed Origins The new Spider-Man game Fortnite New Black Ops Hell maybe Candy Crush I dunno But getting as wound up as you clearly are over a video game Ain’t worth it bud. Best thing I’ve honestly found that works is taking a break from the game for a while.

Edited by Trexies: 12/6/2018 3:18:38 AMDon't know if this was in reference to me, but I've been doing that for around 2-3 weeks because I finished forsaken a while ago. I enjoyed that DLCs story and ambition, but still didn't like the broken exotic drop system, RNG lockout for titles, extremely repetitive quest lines, and all around what destiny has become. This DLC "Content drop" or whatever they call it is absolutely terrible thus far, by this I mean that all they added was the forges, which in it of themselves are broken because once again bungie made an activity way to high light level at the start (hmmm, EP comes to mind) and need to "fix" it in a week. On top of that they needlessly time gate content continuously and have no plans to stop. They have done some good things, like adding pinnacle weapons for most activities now as an example, but still this is just a minor addition and doesn't address most of the fans concerns towards this game, like RNG lockout on a lot of prestigious rewards. From all these issues, and many more I'm just sick of the grind to get mediocre weapons just for said weapons to get a nerf, become obsolete, and another repeat of the same cycle. Bungie never learns with anything they ever do, they constantly make errors they had just fixed to then have us waiting a few months to get them patched, and this cycle repeating. I'm just really sick of this cycle that seems the launch of destiny. their new tag should really be, 2 steps forward one step back, because that sums up every content drop/ patch/ anything released by them. I recommend Red Dead Redemption 2, Assassins creed origins (not odyssey), or spider-man ps4 as a replacement. A comment from Skeletore earlier in the thread said this, which pretty much summerizes my feelings towards this shit show of a dlc. "I invite you to my house for steak dinner, and all you've had to eat for the past 3 months is potatoes. I ask you to pay me up front for the steak dinner, and tell you it will be ready today, it's prepared and ready to be eaten. But instead, I slap more potatoes on your plate and say you haven't eaten enough potatoes, so you have to eat 1-2 more weeks worth of potatoes before you can have the steak you paid for."
