Bungie, for crying out loud, let players spawn in with at least some super energy if we are forced into an ongoing match where your full enemy team has super. No one wants to join a game and just get moped on the floor because enemy team uses 6 supers in a row on you and ends the match there.

bump again

-
We need this to happen.

IT's time to revive this thread

Bumping myself.
-
Bungie. Make this happen.
-
No, that would be fair. Bungle doesn’t do fair.

for the love of all that is holy someone finally goddamn said it you beautiful bastard

5 RepliesI agree. Titanfall 2 has a great model for this problem: (1) players spawning into an ongoing losing match are not penalized; (2) players spawning into an ongoing match have a percentage of their Titan gauge automatically filled.
-
I've seen many people demanding this for years now. Even in D1. I do not think this will happen, ever. Not anymore at least. It's been about five years and such a basic common sense design element is not yet in? Then it's not an oversight but design by choice.
-
1 ReplyI exit the match immediately in those conditions. couldn't pay to giveafok
-
Still not sure why this has never been implemented, it's been asked for since 2014.

This need a fix

For the first time ever i spawned into a winning game of Gambit, the other 3 were about half way through killing the prime evil and then they all activated chaos reach and melted it without me firing a shot off. First time that’s ever happened to me. In crucible if I spawn into an ongoing match it’s always almost a white wash that’s nearly over for a nice loss.
-
Completely agree. If they throw me into a match of Gambit or Crucible near the end, we need to have some sort of catchup
-
I hope they figure out how to do this.
-
Just keeping this visible

5 RepliesSupers have a base recharge rate of 5 minutes, basically most reasonable way would be to give super energy based on [time game has been played] / [5 minutes] * 100% so you would spawn with as much super energy as you would have if you just had been sitting still for the whole game. Possibly even compensate it a little and give some extra energy you would get from a kill or two.
-
I've been asking for this since D1. Maybe they'll listen to you.
-
Bump supers for days or say 2 supers back to back and ability to buff damage output of every player in the team equal to the amount of missing players. Also how come the winning team gets to have more players spawn in on their side?
-
Agreed - at least as much super energy as you would have had with zero kills up to that point.
-
-
Depends on the point at which you join the game. But generally this seems like maybe 1/2 of super would be ok but not a full super.
-
THIS!!!! I said this a while back. Specifically, in regards to Gambit. If they are going to put me behind the 8-ball in an unwinnable match that is nearly over, they should at least have the sense to throw me in with a ready super and some heavy ammo.
-
I wish I can bump this multiple times.
-
If I could upvote this more than once I certainly would. This needs to happen
