Just level up I think a big mistep bungie took was giving us the pinnacle weapon quests last week. If they came out this week people would perceive them as "dlc" and wouldn't complain so much. The thing is people we are not doing dlc anymore. The annual pass is releasing ENDGAME content over the course of the year that will require higher power. You can literally do anything in the game to grind for power. Just play the game. I think the problem is people just don't like destiny which is fine. Go play a different game. This is becoming a true online mmo that requires dedication. If you don't want to "grind milestones" aka playing the game guess what you don't like destiny MOVE ON and leave our game alone.

  • No, the problem is not that people don't like destiny, if they didn't they wouldn't be here complaining, they would have moved on to play something else by now, no, they like the game thus keep coming back to it, they just don't like the crap bungie pulls, crap like this. Its fine having to level up for new end end game activity, like it was with EP in the warmind (witch by the way you can bet you ass that this first forge is not, as there going to be more forges that will be more "end game" than this one) but with that we had new stuff to do, we weren't told to go back to CoO. What is not fine is to release a DLC ,it may be part of a annual pass but no mater how much you twist it and wish it, its still a DLC, with the diference being that you had to buy a pack of 3, and have all of its content locked at day one while giving you the middle finger and telling you to go grind the same shit you have been grinding for the past months. There is a couple of ways they could have avoided a Fallout 76 level of BS like this, one making the first forge fairly doable at release date (having it at midway to new max power level it not fairly doable) and gradually ramp up the power level with the next 3. OR could have released the new power cap with the season release. In both ways people would be ready to start the new stuff on release instead of having it there gated for another week or two when they were previously at max level.

  • I think thats the case also. Some players dont like bungie, just like some certain streamers dont like bungie.
