Ironically enough
If they don't cater to the hardcore, the casuals also complain.
Because at some point casuals reach where the hardcore were.

But if ONLY the hardcores can play, it's awful. Entry level activities should be for people who are at the soft cap from the previous DLC, but it should build to hardcore activities.
