When we first enter the Black Armoury and meet Ada she tells us that this place is not meant for Guardians.
Now hold on just a damn second, if the Black Armoury is not meant to be visited by guardians, then why the frick is it located in the -blam!-ing tower, literally the place where guardians gather.
Secondly, how the -blam!- does a golden age armory exist in the -blam!-ing tower, and we guardians, you know, the ones who own the the tower, not know about this?
Like it's literally located a 2 min walk away from the Vanguard Commanders....
How the hell does Spider know about this place in the tower and we don't? How?......

Its in the wall. And we moved there from the tower. We have only been there a year at most.
-
Honestly I have the same question too . So, after Red War we moved to this new place to start everything. The doors are already there, locked and no one know whats behind until now. The Vanguards and Guardians have occupied a place where they don't have much idea. Our "friend" Spider knows it for...I believe it has longer than we could believe . A guy, named himself Drifter is there hosting the gambit thing who we have very limited information about him. In that case, I would say, No one in this Tower can re-gain my trust.
-
Well technically the Tower was destroyed in the Red War, what we are using is just a part if the Wall. Using it as a base for Guardians is a recent change.
God, "well technically" always makes someone sound like an asshole...
-
“Get out of here guardian!” “Uhh this dude gave me this card...” “Come right in! Can I get you a drink or something?”
-
I would hope that all you retards hopping on the Bungie can't do continuity train would take a minute to realize that we are not in the original tower. The original tower was destroyed and is easily visible looking up the left side when next to Zavala. After the original Tower - WHICH HAD FAR LESS HUMANS WALKING AROUND - was destroyed, the Vanguard and Company had to relocate to a different place. And I'm sure as all great bodies of government, Zavala claimed eminent domain on our current location. Would make sense that this was never meant to be a guardian outpost seeing as how.... well, there's no guardian outpost. There's no Vanguard area with all their fancy computers. Ada was probably supplying the humans of the areas with a means to defend themselves along with supplying criminals with weapons seeing as how it's clearly a reference to the Black Market. Why would she bother helping the tower when it was attacked? She clearly has a stick up her ass for not getting selected as a Guardian. And when the Vanguard commandeered the current area as the new Guardian outpost, she went into hiding. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAND one final point. We have never gotten much information in game as far as story goes from actual story missions. The lore always comes from the weapons and armor, which I imagine since all the content isn't out yet, all the information is out for the backstory to be properly constructed. You all seriously look like a bunch of idiots protesting an 90 year old's birthday just bandwagoning off of the previous post. Is Bungie perfect? Not even close. Is Bungie stupid? In most cases, yes. But they are clearly doing something right if they still have people getting up their own asses about lack of back story in their game. So maybe try pulling your heads out of your asses and putting your brains to work. Maybe then, you won't be so angry.

I'm not certain but isn't the current tower newly built and not found? If newly built then how does zavala or anybody else not know of the black armory. If it was existing, would you not scope out the whole place? hidden walls? Well any ghost can easily scan and detect it.
-
Ada's attitude changed when you showed her that card like a high end car dealer who just realized you actually do have money.
-
The last city was not built in the middle of an empty field or Forrest. It expanded from an old settlement/village, near wear the traveler finally rested. The section where Zavala and company are currently located was clearly built on old ruins which can be seen farther away from the main section. The vanguard tower, which hosted the main vanguard element and guardians is actually above where we are currently located.
-
Timeframe concerned too If this was a Golden Age armory that survived the Collapse, then what is it even doing in a post dark age wall built to protect the Last City???
-
Another question is, who was Ada selling weapons to before the Red War? Not Guardians or Vanguard by her tone.
-
She was obviously there before the old tower got destroyed. Spider found it thru his connections.
-
Also how come when the Cabal invaded didn’t she help the humans or non-guardians with weapons? She has robots all over with guns. And golden age weapons that are so powerful. When the tower was destroyed did she just hang out and watch it happen?
-
We actually lease the Tower for about $100 a year.
-
From the trailer I was expecting some cool, mysterious place in some secret remote location... Then it's just downstairs in the tower.
-
I see the problem here. You expect your content to be well thought out and made by people who know what they're doing. Yeah. Sorry.

Remember Zavala? "Hello guardian!" There's no logic in bungie's brain.
-
It would have been better located at The Farm in the EDZ. Maybe even create a fun social space.
-
The tower also happens to be the place where most of humanity resides so its not really that out there.
-
It's just a video game. Stop thinking logically. BUNGIE does not. So why should you?

Edited by sammy-00193: 12/6/2018 6:09:25 PMJust rememeber that dumb cun t who said all D1 lore is folklore and not real in the world of destiny... blame that dumb -blam!-ing cun t
-
*raises a finger to try and object, thinks about it for a second, then lowers hand* huh... never thought about it in that context before...
-
it would of been far too intelligent (not lazy) for bungie to put the BA in the gosh darn city. I mean campaign missions and crucible have assets they could of reused without issue to put it in the city which would of made a heck of a lot of sense.
-
There are civilians living in the tower too. People without light. Not guardians.

Literary license.

I thought it was -blam!-ed up that spider seems to be "in charge". I was like "What?!?!".
