Yea but they'd be doing that even if it was only 20 matches. At a certain point it's on the players ourselves to not be complete shitbags about this stuff. Idk what Bungie could possibly do to make people not play like that.

  • I dunno, maybe have it require wins instead

  • If they lowered the number of wins required considerably that might work. Nobody is going to grind out 40 gambit wins. It'd have to be 20 max, I'd say 10-15 realisticly. Any more than that and you'll just have people leave the matches after they lose the first round, especially if they think their team is trash. Even with the 30 min penalty after your second left game. And since sitting out for 30 min doesnt hurt you anymore than playing and losing those 2 games would, I bet people would do that even if it only required 10-15 wins. Na, like I said, at a certain point it's out of Bungie's hands and gamers just have to not be shitty.

I wouldn’t mind it. But I can see the complaints, we lost 4 matches in a row... screw this- I’m going back to Quickplay Gambit.” Required winning makes playing toxic/sweaty. Is that good or bad? That’s up to you. But that’s what it does. Might go with a middle-ground approach. Complete 40 or win 15 matches in Gambit to achieve that portion of the quest.
