Ada-1 has never been reset (unless you count her first time awaking and an exo) is Clovis Bray lying?
According to the information given in Warmind about exos, if an exo is not reset several times, they will die. Then how the -blam- has Ada lived for centuries without a single reset?
This brings up questions about the legitimacy of Clovis Bray’s claims and supports the theory that Clovis Bray used resets to keep exos in line and keep them from knowing too much.

[spoiler]Ada-1 was [b]not[/b] built by Clovis Bray, instead created in the Niobe Labs by her mother who was trying to save her dying child (hence why Ada’s body is so small). She was made after the Collapse, hence why despite her never being reset, she has no memory of the Golden Age.[/spoiler]

9 RepliesJust coming back to solidify how Ada-“1”.....”1”....means she’s been reset “1” times. Not “never”. “1”. “1”. Ada-1. Just like how Cayde-6 was reset 6 times before he stopped counting at 6. Just like how Banshee-44 was reset 44 times.

5 RepliesEdited by H1vac: 12/12/2018 11:55:23 PMExos can die of DER but it doesn’t happen to all exos. Giving exos human feelings and wants can prevent DER. Exos can live indefinitely. Awoken and humans have slowed aging compared to us, I think. Ada-1 has never been reset. At least not a documented reset. She has always been Ada-1 from birth.

2 RepliesClovis Bray also discovered that by displaying certain human traits like eating and the drive to reproduce it would delay DER, so if Ada displayed those traits she could avoid a reboot for a while.

22 RepliesAda-1 has only been converted into an Exo fairly recently, she’s had only 1 reset. She was converted during the collapse. Most Exos are from the golden Age. Moreover, she wasn’t converted by Clovis Bray, but by members of the Black Armory. The new Black Armory lore book reveals this.

Resets were an enforcement tool. Exo were Bray's personal army, and if any of them tried stepping out of line, they'd get punished.

Edited by RheubenThePig: 12/4/2018 9:37:51 PMWell, I’m not entirely sure, but there are other “”-1 Exos in the lore. For example, there is an Exo named Mist-1 in the lore for last year’s Dawning ship, “Cerulean Flash”. But as for whether or not Exos start out on -0 or -1, I have no idea.
