Just don’t -blam!-ing play it. You are literally suggesting that Bungie gets rid of content that we all paid for. Yes, it’s not perfect, not nearly, but it’s content that some people happen to enjoy. If it was removed or if it’s not, YOU don’t have to play either way, it just so happens that one of those options gives people the option to play if they want to.

4 RepliesEdited by LIGAS of EARTH: 12/4/2018 8:22:49 AMPVP should exist, it's just that it should exist in a vacuum that has zero impact on PVE and zero rewards or tracking or importance. PVP should just be a blow of steam type of thing and only be played to fool around in.
-
I avoid it like the plague.
-
Anything cancerous should be cut away. PvP has been a cancer on this franchise for years. Gambit can go too.
-
Who cares, they're not going to remove a huge portion of the game on the will of a few spoilt cry babies.

Edited by TheArtist: 12/4/2018 6:16:29 PM
Just don’t -blam!-ing play it.
I don't play Crucible anymore. Haven't in over a month.
You are literally suggesting that Bungie gets rid of content that we all paid for
They are doing it because the constant whining and complaining for nerfs by PVP players who can't stand to lose, is a constant drag on the enjoyability of the pve side of the game. They're tired of it....so even if you don't play Crucible....your life as a PVE player is still being negatively affected. In fact the effort to try to turn Crucible into an e-sport led to the tragedy what was Destiny 2s launch last year.....and nearly the death of the franchise. The effort to mak Crucible "balanced and competitive" broke the game so badly.

1 ReplyIt causes most of the toxicity in the community, and is responsible for most nerfs to our gear.
-
I wouldnt ask for pvp to be removed if changes for pvp purposes didnt affect my pve play.
-
2 RepliesThe crucible and all PvP should have its own gear, weapons, ghosts and perks. All PvP gear should not be usable in PvE settings. This will make the three individuals that like Destiny PvP happy. And the Thousands of PvE Destiny players ecstatic.
-
It’s not a matter of don’t play it. Weapons are tuned so they don’t break PVP which drags down the PVE side.
-
8 RepliesIt's because the babies of crucible get the good weapons ruined because they got killed by it because they aren't that good. Must mean the weapons op and needs a nerf! Stop nerfing our pve weapons!
-
i play Destiny for its PvP
-
2 RepliesI bought destiny for everything else, except for crucible. I’ll vote to remove it, but very unlikely it will ever be removed
-
Id agree this is an easy solution if pvp were completely seperate with a locked weapon pool that did not affect pve at all. I rarely of ever play pvp in destiny because on the scale of pvp games out there it is garbage, which is why I dont get why people dont play Black ops or Battlefield if they really love pvp, but whatever. Destiny should be a pve coop only, imo.
-
Maybe Bungie should stop requiring people to play it. Powerful engrams locked behind it. "Pinnacle Weapons" aka "Account Recovery Incentive". Exotic Quests Bungie is causing the AFK, quitting, cheating and violations of the ToS... And sitting on each others thumbs while it happens.
I don't play it. Haven't for a while. I gave up hope of Bungie ever finding their spine and their stones.
1 ReplyActually, Bungie routinely makes PvE players play PvP - they've done it since D1 - the crucible is horrible and they've proven time and time again, that they either don't care, or that they're not capable.
-
16 RepliesThey took trials and we all payed for that, your point?
-
I’m just a quiet hunter that refuses to touch PvP, pls leave me and my kind alone
-
Why are you trippin’ boo? the franchise will die before they remove crucible. People are using hyperbole to show how disappointed they are, it’s not the end of the world.
-
That's not why they want it removed bud it's because they have to tune weapons to not be op in PvP hence making em shite in pve everybody wants the power back they had in D1 but it would be even more powerful ,all that is needed is to separate the two sandboxes or sell them as separate games well perhaps not that but treat them as separate when you press X to start game next thing should be select pve or pve even before character selection
-
I'm not keen on it...but a separate sandbox would sort it out.
-
I play because I have to play it. Just because Bungie forces me for exotic weapons with quest. PvP should not be deleted but balanced.
-
3 RepliesEdited by JackTheRipperRoo : 12/3/2018 10:50:28 PMNerf it nerf it nerf it and NERF IT -hunter fag
-
All weapons are white common weapons. Only gear allowed in are armor pieces.
-
They could remove pvp And repackage it as pvpvpvevp in the next release ;) We are learning ur ways bungo...
all hail edge transit
-
7 RepliesPeople would not be asking for the removal of PvP if they would separate it from PvE when it comes to balance. We can't have power fantasy in this game thanks to that. More than 4 years of killing Gods and evolving as guardians, but we can still be killed by a single dreg or shank or just equip 1 exotic at a time.....
