2 Heavy Ammo Finder Perks on ... 2 Bricks in 5 strikes....
So, every strike I always start with just about half Ammo on my heavy (Rockets are always full for some reason at start)
I then after going thru all my ammo... See zero drop. When I do it is sometimes towards the end of the strike at the boss... Or at the very beginning of the strike.
I went 5 Strikes with only my starting ammo and seeing only 2 Heavy bricks drop...
WTH is the point of the Perks if there is no increase in drop rate on kill....

That perk only buffs drops by .04%

I noticed it too when I turn off there load of heavy ammo box I sure it bugs

Run this: - 1 heavy ammo finder - 1 special ammo finder - 0 primary ammo finder My completely anecdotal evidence suggests that anything other than this setup will screw things up.

I seem to get loads with one special and one heavy finder along with taken grenade kills giving me heavy for every kill.

1 ReplyI get more heavy with running one heavy ammo finder versus running 2 or more. It seems to glitch out if you run more than one. But that’s just my personal experience.

1 ReplyDon't stack them. it counter acts itself. I have played around with all the different set ups and i find the best drop rate is with a single heavy ammofinder. but if nightfall perk heavy is on then change off heavy ammo finder because it will do the same thing. its easy! Just use one!!! anymore and it breaks the system.

2 RepliesThat’s weird because I have heavy ammo finder on one item, my helmet I think, and there’s always heavy lying around. Maybe their canceling each other out... 🤷🏻♂️

So what is even the point of running specific perks on armor sets if more than half of them don't work as intended? Why not at least make it known in the game that perks don't stack, or don't do anything at all (unflinching).

Yeah there is something seriously wrong with the ammo economy in strikes, I've been in the same situations myself, go the whole strike with no heavy, only to see after killing the boss and one brick sitting there.

Equipping more than one ammo finder perk seems to break it.mm you want to just wear 1...I've payed attention to this several times and when wearing just one, it works much better

2 RepliesIt's a bug. If you have two of the same ammo finder perks on it causes them to cancel out.

Always use a Max of one. Not only do they not stack but research has shown that two actually reduces heavy drops to below 0 equiped.

It’s a glitch if you have than one it stops heavy from dropping almost all the time

Ok so reading the comments seems like for now until it's fixed run only one heavy finder perk, does this apply for special too?

Had this issue a while ago, was told to swap to and from heavy weapon a few times. It worked but I thought they had sorted this glitch out
