The exotic update
Since the update came out, in about 1.5 months ago i got 4 exotics all were duplicates still havent gotten a single piece of exotic forsaken armor fix it bungie. Please

I’ve spoken to players who have 2-3x more play time than me and 3 600 characters that haven’t had once single new exotic drop that wasn’t behind a quest. It’s RNG. It’s shitty drop rates. When loot is crappy or dropping crappy it doesn’t increase the desire to play more, or decreases it. Much like Destiny 2 has done for a lot of folks since it was released. Honestly still can’t fathom how there are numpties on here who sit around talking about how they have 3 toons and they run all their rooms through everything every week and clean up on exotics. I’d just like to slap those numtpeis sometimes and be like “omg, what don’t you understand about RNG. Doesn’t matter how much you play, not everyone is on the same RNG page. Like this FN Numpty down there.👇 Little terd nugget is another one of those who thinks that because their RNG is good and because what they do worked for their drops that’s how it will and should work for everyone. Just too many numpties still wandering around with that idiotic mentality. Went through all Destiny and found well over 12+ GiggityHorns. My buddy ran the same strikes, raids, NF, pvp etc with me and had to buy a Ghorn from Xur when he sold it the second time. 2’s RNG is no different and honestly probably the worst any RNG in this has ever been. Idiots who cling to the idea that if I have 3 toons and play all of them daily and do everything daily, will give everyone the same amount of RNG love...it doesn’t, it never has and it never will...it’s fracking Random. Update: found my 4th exotic since Forsaken came out....Feedback...I already have feedback. 🤦♂️

3 RepliesYeah? I’ve opened 35 Riven raid chests and haven’t gotten voices yet. And am still missing the sniper and bow on top of voices along with never once getting a glittering key: Still don’t have a single Titan exotic and I play on that character the most....like in 3 months I haven’t gotten a single armor piece or even a single new exotic on my Titan, and i have only gotten 1 on my hunter and warlock.

1 Replyi feel like there is a bug in the update they introduced to increase exotic drop rates. before the update i used to atleast get some exotic engram drops. blind well used to drop exotics. now i only get exotics from bounties or prime engrams. i have not seen one exotic engram drop from enemies. i could be wrong though.

Please[/quote] I have heard that Gambit is suppose to be good for Exotics but I have only ever got twice and one was a diplicate. I really hope after reset tonight, the grind will no longer be how it was. To go through a whole season and barely get any Exotics, personally speaking, is unacceptable.

So I was running Shattered Throne last night. Finished the first puzzle and got a Crest of Alpha Lupi, which I already had. We keep going and I got another exotic from a wizard during the ogre fight... [spoiler]...it was another Crest of Alpha Lupi.[/spoiler]

I have finally received 1 piece of Forsaken armor for both my Warlock and Titan. Both have been max lvl for over a month, most likely 2. Still need the "good" armor to drop. (ie One Eyed, Chromatic, Gwisin) That's all I've really been playing this game for is for the exotic drops. I'm glad Black Armory is coming out. The game has been BAF for quite awhile.

I got the warlock void gauntlets and the exotic bow that fires 3 arc arrows one from Gambit, one from Nightfall,so they can drop from anywhere, although I don't think strikes anymore as I ran well over 50 back too back recently and got mainly blues.😬

1 ReplyAlmost all the ones I've gotten have come from the raid, shattered throne, or high score nightfalls...the very very rare ones that drop in the wild from enemies have always been dupes...I would definitely be doing the toughest endgame content if you want a better chance

9 RepliesPlay the powerful engram rewards in order you can see whats worth more by the icon, the full yellow star is higher chance at exotics the lessers are less. Trust me do all the full yellow stars first then move on to lesser, your acquire an exotoc faster I get an exotic almost every couple days this way

3 RepliesI've gotten around 5 forsaken exotics and almost all of them dropped when I was using a fire team medallion. They significantly increase exotic drop rates and would 100% recommend using one if you're playing for a couple hours or more.

Pro tip, pop a Fireteam medallion then do your weekly milestones. Milestones have a higher chance to drop, it's like 4%, and boosters boost that. There's no reason to save dust, n medallions are cheap so stock up. Always have 1 going. My main account I got at least 2 every week on each character just from milestones, for 4 weeks in a row. This is my spare account and I've got 9 exotics in 2 weeks always when using medallions n milestones. Just because it's a new account, 8 where Yr1 exotics but obviously I didn't have any. I got two tailed fox too

Seems to be working based on everyone I play with. We generally do most, if not all, dailies/weeklies though. As others have pointed out, the medallion seems to help. I have one active at all times. Edit - Most of mine have dropped from dailies and weeklies. The 1k voices was my ONLY Forsaken raid exotic and I have not had a single one drop in Nightfall. So make sure you are doing everything.
