  • Uldren will have none of those memories. Same body but the mind is new. Likely a new personality as well.

  • No one will be able to forgive him. At least they shouldn’t. He not only killed a Vanguard, he killed CAYDE. There’s no forgiving that. No matter how “new” he is. I don’t care if he doesn’t remember what he did. That doesn’t mean he didn’t do it.

  • He will have no memory of this. He was being used and manipulated because of Riven and the devotion to his sister. He's a clean slate who will have the whole of the guardians hating him, which to me is right but unfair. I feel bad for him more than anything and honestly, I'd welcome him as the Hunter vanguard with open arms if it came down to that, he's perfect for it. It seems that combat knowledge and stuff sticks with you and he knows how to run people because of his crows like Cayde did with his other hunters. I guess time will tell.

  • It’s right AND fair. He killed Cayde. I’m sorry, but you can not forgive that. There’s no way anyone should forgive that. Just because he has no memory of it doesn’t mean it never happened.

  • If it comes to it, I will forgive it. He will be a completely different man from what he was. He will have a lot of obstacles including other guardians. Yes he killed Cayde, will he was being manipulated, could we stop ourselves if we were doing what an ahamkara was making us see or do?

  • You can see him trying to resist toward the end of the Forsaken campaign. Why couldn’t he try and resist before he went and killed Cayde? Because he already hated Guardians and wanted to destroy us, that’s why. There is 0 forgiveness for that

  • Towards the end sure, because he started knowing something was wrong, that's when he could kind of tell. But then when he sees Mara coming towards him, even the harsh words, in his eyes what he did was save his sister. He did it all for her. He did it through blind devotion and manipulation. This will be a man of clean slate, yes he disliked guardians, he isn't the only person, remember what Mara said on one of he visits - her next visitor dislikes light bearers.

  • Just because of a “clean slate”, that doesn’t even come close to excusing what he did.

  • Differing opinions, but he'll be a new guardian. Who's to tell what you did before you were revived by your ghost for the first time.

  • He wouldn’t be a Guardian. He would be Risen. Not a Guardian. You become a Guardian once you start fighting for the City. Not automatically once you’re revived.

  • Then until he comes to the city he will be risen, the first step. But that doesn't change the fact he deserves a chance for redemption. As I said you could have done terrible things before you were revived, the only solace you have is no one knew you before. The traveler chose him for a reason.
