Slightly, yes.
I would argue it does mean they're bad at the game. The only reason I can see for not wanting to improve through these very basic tips is if someone doesnt care and thats my point. You cant join a competetive cooperative team based game mode with the mindset of not caring because its about everyone on the team and the myriad of reasons they may be there.
You can still get your 20 Rocket kills or Large Blockers by playing the game cooperatively in a way that isnt selfish and hurting your team mates. The difference is it likely wont be as fast because you're not playing selfishly

Of course you can complete the bounties whilst completing the objectives but I'm sure most people see Gambit as a very casual mode where winning doesn't really matter.

Well having come from FFXIV and WoW I see raids in Destiny as casual activities personally. That doesnt change the fact that its a pinnacle activity though.

Never played either of those games tbh Destiny as a whole is very casual IMO, which is why I don't why people care so much about winning activities like Gambit lol

To put it lightly... In FFXIV you have 8 people and if even 1 of them messes up a single one out of 10 or more mechanics or walks too far to the left, its a wipe. All that on top of complex rotations and priority systems that have an average of 30+ hotkey slots I do find Destiny verrrrrrrrry casual. But I dont see why a casual wouldnt care about playing well. Its a FPS, its adrenaline. Winning and doing crazy shit is fun. Popping the heads off of 6 Cabal as fast as Midnight Coup can fire is fun. Wiping an enemy team is fun. Getting stomped isnt fun. These tips help alleviate that.

Well this isn't that game, all in all, people paid to play how they want, may not suit everyone, but nobody has the right to dictate how others play.
