Rule 5 is completely wrong and is counter productive to the 0-2 stack melting meta strats in the worst of cases.
You prevent them from killing their Wizards which prevents buff stacks and overwhelms them with any final blockers you sent which sets their progress back severely.
Theres always the possibility of making them waste their supers as well.
You should ALWAYS invade if you're a skilled invader. Every. Single. Time. That the portal becomes available unless you're neck and neck with less than %50 Health.
Im 6k infamy away from Dredgen with 1000 invader kills and completed Breakneck day 1 solo. I ran two 10 game winstreaks during Breakneck. Invading HARD. As for my stacked games I rarely ever lose. My longest being a 15 win streak before we broke for break. But %80 of my matches are solo and I have a %60 win rate
Even in my sweatiest matches if Im not invading right then Im waiting to defend, watching my stacks and holding my super until I know ill melt.
Invade. Make the enemy waste their supers. Overwhelm them. Win.

Honestly, the only thing you need to win Gambit matches is a skilled invader. The PvP aspect of his mode severely outweighs the PvE side.

I carried so -blam!-ing hard on the invades during Breakneck. Theres times when I couldnt though. Team mates were just too bad. My highest was 24 kills in one game. I got 7 kills in 1 invade sniping with QB and wiping their spawn with Blade Barrage lol.
-
I mean in 1 invade you can only possibly kill 4 people...you get sent back after and army of one medal....nice try though

Edited by Mara Sov’s Step Bro: 12/1/2018 2:24:25 PM1 kill left doesnt stop Blade Barrage from hitting 4 of them in the spawn. Its not like the knives just disappear.
-
Edited by Mara Sov’s Step Bro: 12/1/2018 2:27:35 PMNot if you have 1 kill left and spawn wipe them with an instant Super.
-
Lmfaooooo okay bud whatever you say...I totally believe you got 7 kills in 1 invade 😂😂😂😂😂. Pretty common knowledge you can only get 4 per invade but keep lying
-
The only mechanics to stop your invasion are if you die, your invasion time runs out and even match over doesn’t stop it as you can invade for like a second or two. There is NO mechanic to stop your invasion after 4 kills. I’ve had great invaders kill players while the live ones revive only to be killed again. They can get 4-6 if the team is just that bad. I had a teammate keep rezzing me in the same spot and the invader killed me 3 times. It was funny.
-
Not true, you can get more than 4 kills
-
Edited by Mara Sov’s Step Bro: 12/1/2018 2:45:09 PMThough looking at your invasion stats its little wonder this shocks you so much. Im not a god mode invader but our stats are very similar and I have nearly twice as many kills.
-
LMFAOOOOOO 2019 and we bringing up gambit stats😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 lord have mercy what have we come to. People actually care about gambit?!?!?! Lmfaooooooo
-
Its 2018... actually still... I can understand the time dilation if you havent seen the sun for months though. Gambit is love. Gambit is life.
-
Lmfaooooo thank you for making my day. I needed that laugh 😂😂😂😂
-
You're welcome I mean I get your point. I tend to most enjoy these sort of games less popular systems. But Im not sure what the general consensus is on Gambit and we dont have access to population stats. Personally I dont care about Crucible stats, however Crucible fans do and likewise with Gambit. Simply pointing out that due to discrepancies between our stats I believe Im more qualified on the topic of invading.
-
Yes I know, because it's such a difficult thing to do having wall hacks and heavy at your disposal 80% of the time when you invade. More qualified to talk about invading 😂😂😂😂 its gambit who cares lmfaooooo
-
Edited by Mara Sov’s Step Bro: 12/1/2018 3:05:35 PMSo why do you have nearly identical stats to me but only half the kills? Your KPI is half of mine nearly. Furthermore why have you never killed more than 4 opponents?
-
My one and only counter question....do you honestly think I care at all about gambit stats as I've stated over and over. Its gambit lmfaooo. Have a fantastic day and stroke that epeen a little harder bby 😂😂😂😂
-
Edited by Mara Sov’s Step Bro: 12/1/2018 3:10:26 PMI do not believe you care about Gambit stats. You do however care enough about your opinion on invading, that much is obvious from your posts. Whether you care about the stats or not its mere representative that I am obviously more skilled at invading than you and therefore hold a more qualified opinion on it.
-
Edited by Mara Sov’s Step Bro: 12/1/2018 2:39:04 PMYup. Getting that last kill just makes Blade Barrage despawn right. Pretty obvious I had 3 kills and spawn killed 4 of them with Blade Barrage. Git gud scrub. I mean I would have recorded it but frankly didnt believe it was some unbelievable feat. Just kinda cool. Though I probably should have looking back... considering my last record was only a 8 kill streak in Crucible in Y1... Shame. Kind of sad now. Oh well plenty more invade clutches to be had.
-
Agreed. I call BS on OP when he wrote that then saw her only has 26 matches and 15 defeats with his last match on nov 10th.
-
If invader using a super game over anyways on a invade .
-
You don't even need to kill wizards if you kill the invader right away with melting point and two chaos reach geomags. Bye bye primeval
-
You're awesome.
-
Edited by Yuri Tardid: 12/1/2018 8:08:27 AMI agree 5 is BS. The portal comes back shortly after anyway. Waiting too long just means you get one invade in the time you could have two. Ads and the witches do not get weakened from a slayer stack either. When we play with a full team, we usually have a designated invader that goes through the portal constantly while we work on the primevil. He goes through immediately every time unless he is getting heavy or killing an invader.
-
Edited by Mara Sov’s Step Bro: 12/1/2018 3:13:18 PMExactly. I feel that rule 5 only applies to low skill teams which is what OP is claiming to try to prevent. If your invader is bad its a waste but if your invader can get 4 kills and wipe them in their spawn thats a lot of down time for the enemy. This is especially important for combating 0-1 buff stack strats
-
Edited by Yuri Tardid: 12/1/2018 8:30:02 AMThe only circumstance I can think of for not invading is if your team’s primevil has already been summoned and you’re about to melt it. At that point, don’t even bother going over, keep a look out for invaders and help with damage instead.
