I found this on Nessus in a secret (new?) area I stumbled into, through a hole in the wall in Artifacts Edge while waiting for the saboteur. It's on the wall, in the cornner a large open area (have pics of that too), with what looks like the machine (forge) from the trailer.
Has there been a translation? Has anyone found it yet?
Dont know if this has been found already, I haven't found anything, or any translation of it yet.
"Drink more Ovaltine", maybe?
I forgot the name. “In the night went men in studded corslets; their shields glistened in the waning moon” abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz Here: https://books.google.com/books?id=FCUzAQAAMAAJ&pg=PA122&lpg=PA122&dq=In+the+night+went+men+in+studded+corslets;+their+shields+glistened+in+the+waning+moon”&source=bl&ots=hCUEyyIwgk&sig=jqqlwfvns1-F7m7RaHLg5TjfzPw&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiRqJn4lZ7fAhXL1FkKHV_oCccQ6AEwC3oECAcQAQ#v=onepage&q=In%20the%20night%20went%20men%20in%20studded%20corslets%3B%20their%20shields%20glistened%20in%20the%20waning%20moon”&f=false

I read it out loud and my furniture started floating.

5 RepliesI have asked a few members of the Oxford University and they all seem to come to the same conclusion. The method was to read it backwards and fold the image against itself which creates a new set of words. Reconstruction of the verses it was quite clear to read “nerf fusion rifles”.

2 RepliesApparently Kratos scared the norse pantheon so bad they left Asgard.

Think it roughly says Man love for the win

14 RepliesIt appears to be a bunch of runic / with some of its own gibberish ,As far as I’ve been able to tell . we’ll need something else to be able to completely translate As many of the characters seem to be random or made up. Assume Tuesday we’ll be able to find the other bits of the puzzle . I spent way to long on it yesterday last night and this am . But I think it will be a cipher or some sort. Based on runic . I’ll keep you all posted . Ps I forwarded it to a colleague at northwestern to see if he could take a glance . All he said after I sent it was ... “interesting” .

1 Reply>be an archeologist >enter lost rune >find almost indecipherable runes on the wall >spend the next ten years of your life deciphering them >”two tokens and a blue”

13 RepliesDoes it look Russian at all, or is it just me? Hold on! I need to know exactly where it is and how to get in there. Does anyone have that information? Yes, I'm getting on right now!

4 RepliesThats 100% something. Whether significant or cheeky easter egg remains to be seen, but thats far too purposeful and clear to be mere background fluff.

5 RepliesEdited by Ambivadox: 12/1/2018 12:10:44 PMI'm counting 26 individual characters. Cipher using the symbols and not actual runic translation? Although many of them look like Medieval Futhark with minor artistic license. I have two hours left sitting here at work. Now to see if converting the image to various alphabets produces a coherent statement lol

6 RepliesEdited by H4vocPig3on1: 12/1/2018 6:21:53 PMHmm Lord of the Rings? Here is a translation of each character: Two different Links. https://hobbylark.com/fandoms/lord-of-the-rings-runes https://www.omniglot.com/conscripts/cirth.htm Adapted from Appendix F at the back of Return of the King, this chart shows Tolkien's "Cirth" runes used for writing Elvish and Dwarvish inscriptions. (Where two variant sounds are listed, the first is Elvish, the second used by Moria Dwarves.) I take not credit for this. Just googled and this is what i found. From what I can tell, all the characters are in this chart. Have Fun! edit: added additional link to other chart.
