(Edit notes: because no one is reading other comments I will say this. Go into the new tower look out into the city take note of mountain in back left and other noticeable things within the city.
Go into the bannerfall map and do the same.
I know the lore and location of bannerfall, but there was a reason for my questions. If you don’t do the above steps don’t comment).
This is a lore question. My buddy and I were in the tower “exploring” and were looking out into the city.
I started talking about the possible location of the raid within the city which lead to talking about banner fall so we loaded into the map for it...
We notice that this bannerfall map is within the og tower. So my question is were would bannerfall be within our tower as the architecture doesn’t line up?

5 RepliesThe wall has numerous towers. Obviously the D1 tower is one of them. The one at bannerfall tells the tale of the final stand of Lysander and the Concordat. They were a faction in the consensus. Quite a hostile at that. Led by Lysander, he called out Osiris on occasion, calling him a golden age experiment brought back to life by a faulty ghost. He tried to lead a coup against the Speaker, which ultimately failed. New monarchy engaged in battle with them and bannerfall was their final stand. The faction was exiled from the city and replaced in the consensus by FWC. In D2 the story shows that the red legion attacked there.

2 RepliesBannerfall IS NOT the old Tower. It was orginally a tower for guardians and New Monarchy, but as the city got weaker and the "Darkness" got stronger the tower was abandonded. As for the new raid, I'm fairly sure it'll be taking place within that giant ass crater near the walls.

It’s not our Tower. It was abandoned a long time ago.

It’s not our tower, it’s another one that looks very similarly.

Edited by Borealis: 11/30/2018 3:59:24 PMThere were 8 towers when the city was built and 7 of which were decommissioned or destroyed after Twilight Gap, Bannerfall was one of them and was the final battle between New Monarchy and the Concordat, our tower was the last one in use before the Red Legion attacked.
