Bungie, your GD comp matchmaking sucks!
SBMM my ass. Why in the F did you change what we had in D1Y2? Why do we have these shite maps? The pvp meta has shifted from nut-hugging team cancer to shotgun apes with Luna's. There is practically no in between.

1 ReplyIt is terrible; it’s so bad i uninstalled and I’m not even going to download the new dlc that I’ve paid for. I will never preorder a game again. I will never spend one more penny with bungie. I don’t mind getting beat but it sucks to get stomped for 2 months straight; then we you look up your opponents you wonder why are you playing these god players; i could understand a game or two but literally every game for two months; they must not want me to play ; another mediocre player gone and the pool just got a little more sweaty; wtg bungie. Listen to the 1% god players who kiss your ass and totally ignore the majority; stupid

Everyone in the comp playlist is sweating to get the mountaintop early. Just give it a few weeks for the high rollers to get into high roller territory. And let me say this: Comp rewards those who persevere, and you sound like you’re ready to quit on the third day!

1 ReplyIts not even a week into the season. Matchmaking is going to be all over the place because everyone starts out as equals. Wait two or so weeks and you will be absolutely correct. Its bad, but right now its bad because everyone starts at zero and not because they continue to have a chimpanzee running the algorithms. The chimp takes over in 2 to 3 weeks once all the expert players move to where they belong in the rankings.

It’s true you can never get quickly skilled players on your team it’s always a one sided game. Just about every time I go in comp and even quickplay now you get complete dumbasses on my team. If you’re not decent in crucible or know the basic why even go in there smh.

13 RepliesI am one of these shotgun apes with Luna. Sorry. The thing though is you gotta understand in comp it's about using what is the best to win. Why would you ever put yourself at a disadvantage? It's called competitive for a reason. I get a little upset when I see someone using telesto but then I remember it's comp. That guy is gonna use what makes him most efficient and a viable asset to the team. And if my teammates are better with a telesto I would tell them to throw that darn thing on as well.

2 RepliesCrucible has become the rottenest thing in destiny 2, bad matchmaking, completely unbalanced team organization, toxic player, player who sells a journey and the special ammunition raining as if it were primary, only spoiled the pvp more. In the good, who has the howl of luna goes to the competitive and stays there, a weapon of this only loses to launch rockets because it needs a shot, if they were two would not face. only irritates who plays pvp because the game forces you.

I just tried to play back to back comp matches.. For a bat code and lettuce code.. Both times just end up in orbit. So obviously it's not my connection but bungies shit ass P2P. What do I end up with? A nice ban.

That last 2v4 match really got under my skin and I tilted right off the radar.

You will be playing against streamers and other people that were 5500 glory last season and now they are 0 glory. Wait a week or 2 and then play. All the sweaty tryhards will be 2100+ glory. Also do the mountain top quest solo until you are on the last step. Don’t worry about losing it doesn’t matter until you are at the last step of reaching 2100 glory. When you are on the last step team up.

5 RepliesI played 7 matches of comp solo today. Been on a bo4 zombie and fortnite kick last few weeks. Let me tell you, hold your got damn own weight. If you have a problem with sweaty people, you become one youself. You are after all playing in their play ground. I won 6/7 top of the board why? Because I actually try to win. I lost my 7th match reasons from being out ranged and teamwork put my solo skills into the ground. Got to brave to find out I needed that triumph to get to next stage. Oh well. I don't mind learning new ways to kill players. Fun fact if you are getting stomped dont give up. TRY HARDER and dont make excuses.

This is the result of promoting the team responsible for ruining D1 PVP to lead PVP sandbox devs for D2. Had most people -blam!-ed up that bad they would have been replaced.

Is mountaintop even worth it? The reviews I've seen make it seem inconsistent and have a high skill gap like chaperone

Dude , I use bow and arrows , sniper, shotgun , you can use promethus lens now.. .. malfeasance......shotguns are not tthe problem. You need to shift your gameplay depending on the team.

there is so much in between, you just have to get better. i can use better devils/trust/ace of spades and the supremacy and do just as well as i can with lunas howl. people who say that lunas howl and a shotgun are a must have to find any enjoyment in crucible are completely and utterly wrong. if you think that is the case that is a you problem, not a balance problem. of course lunas howl, not forgotten, and shotguns are good weapons. but to say that there is no alternative and that they are the only good weapons in the meta is completely idiotic.

I still use Fusions in Comp and do fairly well. I just have to put up with teammates having a go at me that 1 time a lose the gun fight, even though ignore all the times I go off with my Fusion.
