So...well, there's the review, I'll just highlight some of the major points;
- This is not a PvP review, however Aztecross does have a weapon out there for that, so here's a link to that if you're more interested in that aspect of the weapon: (Your link, good sir)
- It is not a weapon for melting bosses; it does not compete with Ikelos SG precision damage with Trench Barrel not even active and not even in the best circumstance for the weapon (with a Rally Barricade or Lunafaction Rift).
- The damage buff is not a lot either.
- The prime aspect of the weapon is the explosion provided by the kill, which is seen as stronger here than a Firefly or Dragonfly explosion; it is an add-clearing, Major destroying weapon.
- With a Rally Barricade or or Lunafaction Rift it is very, very good at clearing out groups of enemies.
- Has good synergy with Transversive Steps for Warlocks, Hunters can dodge for a faster reload.
- Looks like it's extremely efficient for killing Small Blockers in Gambit, but you're likely going to be on add-clear duty rather than boss melting in that case.
As for grinding to get the weapon he mentions a fast method in the video (Lake of Shadows, Techeun Force (Raid Fusion Rifle) or Main Ingredient (both are Arc), Thunderlord, Arc subclass; the strike is incredibly quick to finish for the 40 completions). Other thoughts on the killing side from me: you could also just load up a Nightfall once you have all the strikes done you need and give yourself modifiers meant to speed up the Arc kills and wipe in no respawn zones to keep killing the same enemies over and over.

This quest reminds me of the old times in d1, when i completed strikes for bad juju. It was nexus fastest to finish. After bad juju receiving i could do it with closed eyes (for real i didn't want to open eyes because then i see this freaking strike again)
