I'm just wondering, has anyone really found much use for Gunslinger exotics that I could use if I'm using Way of the Outlaw or Way of the Sharpshooter? Because I honestly can't really find much.
Young Ahamkara's Spine: This is a good exotic, but I hate the feel of trip mine grenades and I honestly don't see much use for them, so this exotic is a nope.
Ophidia Spathe: These are good exotics, but let's face it, who uses this exotic with anything else other than Way of a Thousand Cuts?
Celestial Nighthawk: This is definitely an awesome exotic... in PvE that is, this exotic basically has literally zero use in PvP, and in PvE, it is only good for taking out high-level bosses. And there isn't really any reason to use this exotic with Way of the Outlaw, because if you only have one shot, it would be better if you could deal precision damage with that shot.
I really hope that Golden Gun gets some new exotics that make it better, maybe a new exotic helmet that increases the duration of Golden Gun when it's being cast while holding a hand cannon, or an exotic that adds some perk where shots not used from golden gun return super energy after the super ends, so like for example if you are using Way of the Outlaw, and you cast golden gun and you only fire 4 shots, then when the super is over you get 2/6th of your super back.
I'm just really hoping for some fun and effective exotics for Golden Gun, or hey, maybe they could bring back Achlyophage Symbiote, that exotic might be pretty cool to add into Destiny 2.

Hey. Nighthawk allows you to oneshot a Striker Ape. I'd say its 10/10

Young ahamkara spine is much better with the blade barrage class than the other two (a really good option if u don’t have shards). For gunslinger, you might as well use oathmemers if you don’t need to use celestial.

3 RepliesEdited by Sturm with no Drang: 12/1/2018 2:52:11 AMIt would be sweet if they made an exotic based off of how Ana Bray created those pools of light from her Golden Gun back during the Battle of the Twilight Gap. >Each Golden Gun round fired creates a burning pool of light that grants a resilience/recovery buff to allies and damages enemies who get too close to them. It’d be a net bonus because everyone would stop bitching over Hunters actually using their first Panic Super and we Gunslinger Aficionados would finally be able to run supportive strategies. And before anyone begins to say “But Hunters are too powerful when they run their super!”, no shit Sherlock. Supers ought to be powerful. Ward of Dawn ought to be powerful. Nova Bomb ought to be powerful. Single-fire tethers also deserve to be powerful in their own right. If I use an exotic armor, exotic weapon or a goddamn golden plated frying pan then that mother deserves to bring some pain with it. You don’t like someone popping their Golden Gun and bringing down the molten hammer of the Sun down on your and your collective blueberry teammates? Better bring your snipers and linear fusion rifles, buttercup. Ain’t no mercy in the Crucible, even if you wanna cry for it.

Nighthawk.

Pop 6 shot goldie, then while in super, put on Nighthawk. Boom! Everytime you kill someone, it regens half your super so you can basically run from one end of the map to the other while in 6 shot mode. You're welcome.

Bakengangsta

They could add an exotic based on Shin Malphur. Not sure what exactly it would do but it’s an idea

Use the stompees. They're great on every hunter subclass.
-
Same problem, i love the gunslinger sub class (id switch to arc blade in a heartbeat if it came back...) but i rarely use any meaningfull exotics, just whatever looks more appealing, wich is why i use lucky pants...not that LP seems to do much.

Just 6th Cyote. All day. Every day.
until I get Gwisin Vest
-
Shards of Galanor if you use Way of a Thousand Cuts
-
Achlyophage Symbiote No just no

1 ReplyUse 6 shot, activate super, put on Celestial Nighthawk. You get super back for getting kills while having 6 shots. You can only (realistically) do it on PC. Console load times are too slow. Other than that, Ahamkaras Spine is ok. Trip mines are good but I feel like Stompees are more valuable

I like ophida spade for pvp
-
1 ReplyExotic that made way of the outlaw GG, become like Overwatch McCree ultimate. I bet many will rage if that actually happened.
-
1 ReplyNope almost all hunter exotics are trash
-
Nope. Most of our exotics are mud.
-
3 RepliesUse top tree hunter without using nighthawk, pop your super, quickly equip nighthawk, and you'll get six night hawk shots. They might fix this glitch soon but its worth a try for now.
-
Celestial nighthawk Other than that use blade barrage only
-
Yes
Stomp-EES
1 ReplyOphidia spathe plus gamblers dodge equals infinite knives on blade barrage, especially if brawler is on
-
I love using Oathbreaker gauntlets with the Trinty Ghoul bow. You can hold the draw at full power indefinitely.
-
1 ReplyGood old knucklehead radar goes under the radar often.
-
I don’t need an exotic to make me good in PvE.

The ol’ spine mine is pretty fantastic, I encourage you give them a try.
