Basically what I did was I closed the application (Destiny 2) I turned on my personal hostpot which is a utility in your smartphone that allows you to share your internet from your Smartphone to any device. Anyways what I did was I went on used the personal hostpot, connected it to PS4 then I went straight to D2. For some reason it actually let me sign in, I chose my character and all then as soon as I got to Orbit I switched back to my Home Internet without closing the application and then It worked. Not sure if it will work for y’all but I hope it does. Been looking for answers but didn’t get any so I tried whatever I could. So hope the best for everyone!

10 RepliesThat indicates that your personal home internet has some serious issues in your cache on either your modem or your router which need cleared.

1 ReplyHappen to me just now as I was in a nightfall. Everything else works and is connected to internet. Can send msgs through live and use wifi still. Just d2 wont let me back in and keep getting this message. I'm on a school wifi network so I can't reset the router or turn it off again. That's it for the night it seems.

1 Replyso just to affirm this, i was having the EXACT same issue and i just got off customer support with my ISP. i tried this and alas its working for me too. weird fix but im glad it works.
