WE NEED Kinetic Fusion Rifles and New and Unique Additions
As title states , as a die-hard fusion main and fusion enthusiast, I want to be allowed the same freedom in loadout customization as shotgun and sniper users in pvp .
It's just not fair to allow shotguns and snipers take a kinetic slot and not also allow fusions . We need kinetic fusions or a kinetic equivalent
This expansion it seems that fusions have been forgotten , besides the introduction of 1000 voices and that's a heavy so the usage of it in pvp is minimal .
Tons of shotguns and snipers have been introduced. Many of which are unique like in nightfall loot , give us more fusion rifle variety and slot choice
And for people that say it doesn't make sense for fusion rifles to not fire a non elemental beam of energy , yeah tell me what part of this game makes sense so far from a logical perspective.
Please upvote this so we can get attention and hopefully get some feedback / developer response.Possibly see some changes / additions brought for fusions in the coming DLCs ! :)

1 ReplyEdited by AendettV: 11/26/2018 12:43:41 AMA kinetic fusion rifle is a shotgun. Discussion over. Maybe ask for a multi projectile rail gun. Which is essentially a shotgun with a charge time, so it'd be a redundant weapon watering down the loot pool.

A fusion rifle (An energy weapon that launches bolts of energy) can not be used in a weapon slot reserved for 'kinetic / ballistic' weapons because it is not [i]consistent[/i] with the game-universe established lore and setting. But yes there absolutely should be more fusion rifles available in the game. Main Ingredient and the Erentil should both drop more frequently as well, to make up for the lack of options. Hopefully the new Vanguard Pinnacle one is good.

The fusion is merely how the 'stuff' is compacted (kind of not really), but the actual ammo being expelled is simple blasts. Not energy, just kinetic concuccsion-like blasts. Maybe... a fission rifle? I dunno. A rifle that splits atoms apart, creating kinetic energy, and then focusing that energy out as bolts? Rather than fusing stuff together, which makes void/solar/arc energy bolts. Or just not care about specifics and call it a 'force gun' that charges up and just shoots small, kinetic blasts of energy. No explaination required.
