Titan Dps?

Do titans have a major dps super, that isn’t a buff for everyone. I mean other then melting point and the new shield, titans don’t seem to be able to do a lot of damage quickly by themselves, do other classes have this problem, or is it just titans? Do other classes have the opposite problem where they don’t have an add clearing super?

  • Thundercrash should be our pinnacle dps super. It's called code of the missile isn't It, not code of the pop rocket. Considering this supers attachment to damage as a whole, it should be incredibly powerful WITHOUT needing synthoceps. I don't see anything wrong with it dealing similar damage to blade barrage or chaos reach. At least 1 non super situational dps super. If burning maul wasn't such a bitch to use, I wouldn't mind as much.

    • You should try the other classes... Best way to see what works best for you instead of using only 1 class... I didnt bother with warlock or hunter in d1 after becoming a hunter main on d2 I regret not grinding out those classes in d1 but ive made up for it significantly in d2.. My favorite super to use is top tree tether with Orpheus rig on my hunter than for boss fights chaos reach with my geomag stabilizers which extends its duration by doing damage... But back to your question about add clearing blade barrage(hunter) is great so is stormcaller(warlock) with crown tempest helmet.. Me and my cousin run hunters usually and I run tether and he runs blade barrage with shards of galanor that the lucky bastard just had drop for him yesterday lol we both get our supers back immediately

      • Not really. Striker is more of an ad clearing, attention drawing super, which needs a huge buff. Sentinel is more of ad clearing, support super Sunbreaker is kind of in between Sentinel and Striker.

      • Hammers or top tree striker with synthoceps are insane. Better than blade barrage and regular chaos reach, roval to night hawk.

          • People are forgetting that synthoceps are a thing. Top tree sunbreaker and max synthoceps buff can reliably get top tier damage on bosses like Argos and Ca'uor.

            • I would say warlocks because one super is directly buffing for dps and healing. Hunters only has tether that is more useful the more people you have around and yes that does help with damage but I think it is more useful for ad clearing/orb generation (granted you need lots of enemies to generate lots of orbs but you get what I mean)

            • Burning mail with synthoceps is pretty solid, seems to do big damage with the slam attack.

                • Have you seen Aztecross video on Burning Maul. It can do so much DPS by itself. But of course the boss can’t be flying or anything. Use Synthoceps and get Burning Flames x3(or whatever the perk is called). Then just use the overhead slam until the super ends.

                  • Personally id like to see bungie rework thw classes in D3. Right now all classes have mixed super and abilities. That is just a mash up of everything but in different ways. Titan subclasses should meet these categories 1)give personal buffs for survivability and area control 2) give high team damage buffs up close (melting point) 3) good melee and up close abilities and supers to encourge being the frontline class Warlocks 1) very good team support abilities and supers 2) team buffs and moderate ad control supers from range 3) team damage buffs much lower damage than titans, but can be activated from Range (well of radiance for example) Hunters 1) high dps supers and abilites that should be powerful against a certain enemy and not for huge groups 2) high risk high reward aspect, has long range and close range abilities that work well together 3) Very personal abilities that make it easy to do hit n run tactics (granting huge movement buffs, invisibility) supers do high damage, but only to singular targets or a few high health targets This gives each class a unique play style and role in fights i think. Of course people might think differently so let me know what you think.

                    • I'd say Sunbreaker is the best for straight damage output. They do better bolstering allies and sweeping the ground

                    • Even the new sentinel super is useless; you do more damage as a group if you just shoot. Melting point is our only option really. However just get your rally barrier and full auto shotty and get melting point on target, it does a lot of damage.
