Problem with "Recruit a Friend"

Recently my little cousin started playing Destiny 2 and a week ago I gave him The Renegades and the Annual Pass (you can see the purchase I made and sent as a gift through the Blizzard store). I wanted to be able to play together and enjoy the "recruit a friend" program so, along with the gift, I sent my veteran player link. However, despite the fact that I have received the corresponding special adventure within the game, he can not obtain it and we have verified that he does not appear linked to me in the corresponding section of the bungie website. I do not know what is due because I doubt that the 7 days passed before he used the link, in fact it has hardly been 8 days in total since I gave him the expansions. I do not know what problem there may be, if something has failed, if my cousin did not know how to link correctly (he's quite young), if we have to wait for the information in our accounts to be updated ... I ask you please to allow us to play together linked through the program "recruit a friend" because it makes us especially excited, especially him. Also, it was already my intention from the moment I bought the expansions. Thank you very much for your time and for attending to my request, which I know is not usual and will have more serious incidents to solve.

  • I have a similar problem. A friend invited to participate in the action "Invite a friend." He threw the link that I followed, registered on bungie.net and purchased the add-ons that were rejected (the original version was already purchased). I also tried to go through the procedure of merging accounts on the bungie.net website, a window appeared that "Connection was created", but strangely, the "confirm connection" button did not disappear anywhere. LVL 50 received, and quests for receiving awards did not appear. what's the matter? The connection between the accounts tried to create before the purchase of the add-ons "forsaken", and after the purchase, within a week, did not try to create the connection again. Dear developers is it possible to fix this?

    In my experience, you need to restart the game and claim the quest from Hawthorne in tower.
