I’m not knocking the game at all. I’m being serious. I’m a day one destiny 1 player have played up til now but it seems like bungie doesn’t care anymore.
Exhibit A: haven’t heard from the sandbox team in months and matchmaking has been terrible since launch of forsaken and there’s been plenty of player feedback since then
Exhibit B: drop rates are terrible only do the weekly in hopes of getting an exotic I don’t have seems a little too rare for exotic drops and bungie said they tweaked exotic duplicates but drop rates weren’t even this bad in d1
Exhibit C: Xur has been rendered useless no longer sells three of coins fated engrams are a waste and your main player base has no reason to interact with him
Exhibit D: Strikes are pointless and all loot is locked behind nightfalls terrible endgame mentality because it’s become super repetitive and not that rewarding
Gambit is ok but is super frustrating and has matchmaking problems as well.
The huge issue here is I don’t feel like I’m progressing anymore in gear light level nothing it’s become another pointless shooter and that’s not really what kept players hooked.
I love this game but it’s really started to lose its luster and yea I know black armory is coming but there’s so much they need to fix still and bungie doesn’t seem like it’s trending in the right direction at the moment.
Let me know your thoughts guys
Edit: Loving the feed back guys. I’m glad there’s people on both sides of this

4 RepliesI think the biggest issue in D2 is the fact that they went away from the entire grind of D1. In D1 you did strikes and crucible and various things to get to raid level. Then, you did raid, Iron Banner, and Trials, and Nightfall. Towards the end you also had PoE which was my favorite part. Now, you just grind shit you don't like because of milestones. PvP is a mess, the raid is mediocre, and the nightfall is based on a high score instead of just doing it. If there was a playerbase for D1 i would just go back to that honestly. Loved the raids in D1, loved PoE too. Everything about it was enjoyable because the gear was actually worth the effort for end game stuff. Everyone... EVERYONE LOVED FATEBRINGER... That is my idea of a raid weapon. Not this junk with random rolls that are the same as every other gun in the game. Plus the armor has no special perks either...
