I would love to have the options to reset my crucible stats. After the tragedy that year 1 crucible was im finding it hard to raise my stats. I was mainly a solo player when i played because all my friends bailed on the game so i was no match for the team shooting. My previous 25 matches k/d in the new sandbox is consistently much higher than my overall k/d. Im tired of trying to find groups to play iron banner or comp and everybody thinks i suck because all they see when they look me up is my year 1 solo stats.
All im saying is people get better as they play and they get punished if they are not amazing as soon as they play crucible. If your stats are good then you don't have anything to worry about and this shouldn't matter to you.

Stats are irrelevant. How you perform is not.
-
K/Ds are misleading, I had a 4+ k/d then took a break from the game for about 4 months, and now my k/d is probably negative. But for a while, I constantly got messaged, “ y u so bad with your high kd”
Yes, I was a sweat, but I’m not now anymore and not planning on going back to being a sweat. I just feel like enjoying the game now.
Just so you know, you shouldn’t care about your stats that much. Not to mention the only other people who care about other people’s stats in the Crucible are idiots.

Edited by SINECURE53: 11/25/2018 5:29:33 AMNo man. It shows your growth, what you learned and your struggles plus improvement. I was a 1.23 kda or kad i get them confused. I kept making better choices in pvp while not using much of the meta. Found my own playstyle and now im a 2.06 kda or kad. Feels nice to look back and see thr improvement. Btw my goal was to be a 1.50 kda so i passed my own expectations. Im also a solo player. Edit: so its K.A.D.

Who gives a damn? They're just stats.
-
This is just sad. The only way to prove how good you are is by playing against other good players and beat them. What a number says doesn’t mean shit. I would them to way rather put effort on fixing comp matchmaking.

3 RepliesThe more you play the better you get. The same is true of your stats.
-
2 RepliesJust create seasonal KDA stat tracking emblems
-
6 RepliesStats don’t matter, play for fun.
-
Trust me dude KD doesn't metter
-
It's just a number. You know how good you are. K/D's are misleading anyways when it comes to proving skill or whatever.
-
6 RepliesThis would be cool but inaccurate, maybe a emblem that tracks your k.d in a specific season or year
-
I think k/d has had way too.much stock out into it...it's a decent indicator but there are so many circus ancestors out of a players control that affect that number...if you really want to see are players skill, you would have to look at a myriad of stats...but I understand people wanting a quick look at someone for finding teams
-
Or just make it all private that seems easy enough and a good move given the toxic players hooked on the idea that numbers for solo players are gonna be close to team players. it’s stupid .

9 RepliesEdited by DuBChiri2: 11/23/2018 5:18:41 PMWell I mean...if you want to show you are improving, wouldn't just...increasing your KD be a better option. If you've really improved, your KD should go up no matter what. I don't know what your original kd was, but it would be HIGHLY misleading for you to reset your stats then all of a sudden have like a 2.0 which wouldn't be reflecting your actual skill level. Just keep working at your numbers, you will see an increase if you really care that much. KD will slowly average out even if you perform insanely well. I actually had a 1.8 in year one because I avoided comp. Due to the sheer number of games I've played, my of has dropped to around a 1.5, but this would be more accurate FOR ME. I'm not a near 2.0 player, I don't have the patience to do that.

1 ReplyWhat I would like to see is K/D or efficiency ratings that track your last such and such percentage of matches or maybe a certain number like the last 1000. It sucks for those of us who stay on the same account but have improved because no PvP clan will have you with less than a 1.5-2 K/D. So now we have all these people who have less than 1000 matches on their new accounts acting all arrogant with their stats that don't make any sense whatsoever.

I'm in the same boat. Mained a titan, used auto rifles and only really played for the milestones. Now ar 33k kills it's hard to get that KD to budge
-
Kd doesn’t matter
-
6 RepliesThat would be cheating
-
9 RepliesNo, stats aAre there for a reason not fabrication
-
4 RepliesHow about a seasonal KDA Emblem. Instead of resetting our stats we get an emblem for each season. I have the same problem, I was really bad during year one and I have improved by quite a lot.
-
1 ReplyI doubt it would be up to Bungie seeing as stats aren't even shown on here. Which brings me to another point, can we get stats back in the app?
-
1 ReplyIm a solo player and my stat is 2.48

PLEASE. The first 3 months I played I sucked. Then I took a break and came back with forsaken and I feel that I’m better now (not night and day difference) but my real KD is like 1.0 even I think because of it and I think I could put up at least 1.3/1.4 KD and maybe a 2.0 KDA but I’ll never know unless I start a whole new account
