Destiny 1 PvP was alllll about winning your 1v1's and outplaying people, and moving on (fast recovery/good movement I miss you).
D2 is very dull, the kill chaining capability is incomparable, the gameplay is not as rewarding/fast paced/enjoyable, and If I lose a gunfight I want it to be because I got outshot/out strafed etc. I really enjoyed D1 because when you played a top player you would know. And that feeling off a skill gap made me GRIND, to get better. I dont want to lose a gunfight and think; oh luna has a faster ttk than a 150 guess I shouldnt have used a 150.... or oh flinch sabotaged my aim, or in air accuracy (or lack there of) messed me up.... just flattens the skill ceiling and reduces the variety of possible plays you can make to outwit/out gun people.

2 RepliesD2 (at launch) tried to be the new competitive Halo style PvP and the game was basically made around that. It failed miserably. But I do agree, D1s PvP felt so much better, they should of tried to crack it up to 60 FPS on console to make up for 4v4.
