Enemies that wield exotics!
Just a thought. How cool would it be to have to fight a boss at the end of an exotic quest grind that is shooting at you with the very weapon you are trying to get. In order to pry the weapon out of their cold dead hands you have to battle them while they try and kill you with it. Not saying all exotics should be like this but I think it would add a really cool dynamic to the game. I think it would make the game quite a bit more interesting and the reward of actually besting said boss would feel great. Thoughts?

I need to see a Taken Phalanx with tractor cannon and his boop shield. I need to see a Knight with Raze Lighter, Dark Drinker, Bolt Caster, Worldline Zero, or Black Talon. I need to see a captain that snipes you across the map with Queensbreaker. I MUST see scorn rush you with Chaperone. 23 RepliesSince destiny is on PC and with rumors of D3 already being made. I see PC heavily influencing D3 and consoles just holding D3 back. And this is coming from a console player. If destiny is the game we all want it to be. It has to be just a PC game imo

In Borderlands 2 the enemies had randomly generated weapons out of the loot pool. On a really rare occasion you could get a goliath blaster dual wielding norfleets. It was sweet but instantaneous death haha.

Vestige Of Riven You enter the chamber, riven’s voice calls to you, asking if you really wish to kill something that is already dead, mocking the redundancy of such a concept. The last line of dialogue: “It [i]really is possible.[/i] all you have to do.. is [i]wish it.[/i]” You hear a scream/screech/oryx roar all in one, and the Vestige of Riven drops from the unseeable ceiling (its dark af in that place) practically exploding into existence in front of you, and does a quick left to right sweep with one thousand voices as the opening blow. (This is the only time I would have it insta-kill you) and then it can be a mix of mechanics from the Meatball servitor, the worm god fight from warmind, and oryx, where you gotta stagger him otherwise he’ll melt your face. You kill riven again, she speaks the lore tab from one thousand voices, and it drops. Boom, thoroughly decent way to get it and still feel like you earned it?

That’s how the old strike specific loot was like in destiny 1 but they ruined the concept in destiny 2
