Again, my weapon gained a lv requirement that it didnt had when upgrading.
so it happened again, but now with a exotic helm.
it had already happened with a legendary weapon so i thought only exotic itens could be upgraded without lv restriction passing through infusion, but seems like thats not the case, some itens dont have lv requirement and some itens have, you literally have to know what item has that and what item doesnt.

if someone from bungie dont respond me i might not even buy this game anymore, these unwarned things make me feel so stupid, grinding items for hours and then i cant even upgraded it because i wont be able to use it anymore, right now i have two of my main items stored because of this, that is no warning at all, and thats disgusting for a company to do something like that.

It's wasteful, for one, and it leads to issues like this, for two. For the content you have access to under level 50, l would hazard to say light shouldn't be an issue. You also don't suffer for not equipping your higher light stuff - if you just keep what you have on, and keep the higher light piece on the side, it's still counted in your next engrams and their light output. You don't have to equip your best light gear - so until you reach level 50, don't try to. They would do well to add a notice ingame like "Warning, infusing this gear piece will make it a higher level than you can currently equip, do you wish to proceed?" However sadly that is not the current case as Bungie lacks basic foresight.
