I really need to understand how the loot for the 1k voices works. I've opened like more than 20 chest and never got it, while almost all my friends got theirs on their 2nd or 4th last wish's completion. I think this is unfair and that the drop rate should be increased chest after chest. I'm tired of doing triple Riven every tuesday knowing that I will not probably get it, because I'm not lucky and because Destiny is a game where rng decides if you have been worthy enoff to have the best rewards. I don't know, you could do something with Petra's run which I completed, while some random guys got lucky and earned it in the first chest they saw. Please Bungie, I'm tired of this rng system which pisses me off and bother me since D1, check your algorithms and try to make it a little more fair. It would be awesome.

The 1k should be like the legend of Acrius Quest line both requiring the raid completion & a hard strike completion as well as number of kills with fusion rifles then forge it within the raid for its last step. A few locked behind quests (exotics) Malfesance Legend of Acrius (raid) *why isn't the terrible terrabah, Anarchy, 1k quest locked Sturm + Drang Chaperone Claymore Luna/forgotten *Bungie dev team changed or something since the original launch of destiny 2 or have the dev's been told to cut back on content to save money...

5 RepliesEdited by Oh Lawd He Comin': 11/21/2018 3:34:49 PMWhile I disagree with the premise of artificially balanced RNG, I do think Bungie did something very good with the Redrix Broadsword quest. That grind took me almost a month and a half of dedicated PvP play, but it made me such a better player and once I got the gun I felt so accomplished! It's a tough enough quest to get through that I see Broadsword about as infrequently as I see 1K voices. While I hate the idea of easy quest exotics such as the recent Thunderlord questline, I think giving the option of a time-limited (complete within 1 season) hardcore grind quest as an alternate to farming RNG is a great idea. It may require some serious dedication to the goal, but you can at least have the option of choosing a path with a clearly defined finish line. Something to this effect for 1k voices: Quest line awarded by first last wish completion: -Complete 50 Bounties in Dreaming City -Get 150 Fusion Rifle Kills in The Last Wish or Shattered Throne -Get 300 Solar Kills in the same areas -Complete The Shattered Throne without dying -Complete 25 Patrols in Dreaming City -Complete 10 Heroic Public Events in the Dreaming City -Slay Riven 5 Times in one season -Earn 1000 Legendary Shards in one season Yes, it's a hell of a grind, but that's about on par with the Broadsword quest if not a bit easier and I think it'd be a balanced alternative option.

Yep, Bungie do not reward the players who play the most with bad RNG. Doesn't matter if you play more than others, bad RNG means you are still behind in terms of getting loot. Something is very wrong with the algorithms that's for sure. Common sense says to reward your most loyal fans right?

1 ReplyI still never got the vex whatever back in destiny 1 year 3 an that encounter was easy. At that time i think sleeper and black spindle was doing major dps at that time.

If you don't like it, play something else, where everyone has the same guns, and there's no variation of any kind. Some people actually [i]want[/i] this RNG-based loot system, that's why games like Diablo, Borderlands, and FFXIV are so popular.

2 RepliesI had the same problem in D1. No gally until Xur sold it the second time. I ran 3 vaults 3 Crota but never had it drop. Rng is horrible for me too but some folks it’s great. I have just gotten my 2nd exotic to drop for me in forsaken. My first was an exotic sparrow lol

Research what "random" means. Loot system is just a roulette wheel, if your chips on 20 and 9 comes up, sorry about your luck pal.

4 RepliesI at 17 chests, no luck. Got 3 more chances today, but I am sure it will be 20 chests with no 1k after today Just forget about it. There is plenty of other good heavys. It honestly only shines in gambit for scrubs Queen breaker is better for PvP It’s just a low drop rate, and I suspect it’s been nerfed as well. People were getting them like candy early one out of 17 runs i’ve seen it drop 3 times
