Strike Specific Loot - can we go back to D1 model (pre-keys)?
I'm a hobbyist, and I love to play the game, but I like variety. I'm content to play heroic strike playlist for hours as there is variety in it. But, the rewards are just not there now. Can you bring back the opportunity to earn the strike specific loot from these, as well as exotics? Being forced to "farm" a Nightfall over and over in order to earn a reward really sucks the fun out of it.

These were items that I actually wanted and wanted to farm for! Yet there isn’t a single strike specific armor in d2. Bungies design team needs to step. It. Up.

Edited by Lich: 11/21/2018 11:18:06 PMNo because it was a pain in the ass even with keys. We need strike loot added to heroic play lists. Seperate form nightfall drops. Other weapons and or armor pieces to a complete set. All based off the strike and the enemies.

All that Nightfall loot should go back into heroic strikes, and the Nightfall should offer a shot at a curated version but with a smaller chance of dropping. Best of both worlds, now the solo player has something to farm for and do over and over hoping for better rolls, and the clan player who runs weekly nightfalls with his group still gets the super challenge they want and a shot at a Bungie God Rolled master worked version. I'd also like to see the pool of gear expanded upon too, with 2 or 3 potential items at each strike location.

I feel like Bungie purposefully ruined strikes this season in an attempt to push people towards their new mode Gambit. At least last season had rewards to get as you leveled up and a cool exotic ship for reaching max rank. I would much rather have strike specific loot but at least that was something to make strikes worth doing. Now I only do them if they show up on the daily as I don't care to try and match my teammates subclass and there is zero reason to do them anyways. I don't understand why they throw their own content under the bus? If they would stop making things irrelevant people might stick around longer. I also had higher hopes for Heroic Story missions and those are a massive bust. I thought they would take more of the Division route where they would be extremely hard but reward really good loot. I don't know WHY I would have thought that given this companies track record?

you can farm lost sectors for spider weapons. The dust rock blues and wright side of wrong are excellent guns worth farming. You can youtube the farms and try and get the best roll possible. good luck. I agree with your post btw.

1 ReplyYup, I need The Corrupted pulse rifle to get complete the Cursebreaker seal. No luck getting it so far and I'll have to wait another week for a chance to farm for it again. It's a horrible system
