Bungie said they wouldn't stop it because it a smart way of using game mechanics.
The only problem with it at the moment is that it counts towards a raid finish on the emblem meaning that i could have 50 on the emblem and have never done the full raid.
Then I could say im a sherpa and it would work.
The system is not very well thought through but the cheese wont be removed!

You have to do the run at the end for it to count a completion.
