Solved (I Think) - PlayStation 4 Pro Randomly Shutting Off.

The air intake vents on the side were clogged as -blam!- with dust, so it would shut off because it had overheated and not turn back on until it had cooled off. I still don’t know why the lights in my basement flashed when this occurred. Thanks to all those who offered possible solutions!

  • If your lights were flickering you need to get an electrician.

    • Friendly reminder to check your console vents regularly and clean them out

      • Like I said a couple days ago either call an electrician or at least change that outlet. If your lights were deeming you’re overloading the circuit. Unless you have 12 things plugged into that outlet you should not be overloading it. If you do have 12 things plugged in and then re-configure with extension cords because it’s just too much for one circuit. You also need to make sure what else is on that circuit could be multiple outlets, the laundry room, or room that’s adjacent to the room you’re in. Just keep an eye on it the last thing you want to do is burn the damn house down.
