Macro Titan Skating?!
If you play on the pc version of this game, you’ll notice that most of the titan community uses macros to skate faster. I just got my razor mechanical keyboard today and I’m loving it. Spent 2 hours fine tuning my macro to function as effectively as possible in game. Basically my character can fly across the map soo fast now. It is so fun. But fun aside; is Titan skating balanced? My opinion: If you’ve got it set up like I do with the macro and the perfect delay then, no. My character skated at a speed 40% faster than sprint on average. Although I do believe that skating is a staple of the Titan class. Titans are not the tank. Resilience actually makes little difference. Titans are front line assault type war soldiers. Meant for fast paced front lines battles and CQC. Hunters are nimble, agile, and slippery. Their jump is perfect for outplaying opponents by using vertical space. Titan jump is about getting from place to place as quickly as possible. Getting in the action as quick as possible. Destiny 1 had it right. Skating is and will always be a huge part of what it means to be a Titan. Return skating to console. Make it achievable without the use of a macro.

11 RepliesTitan skating should not have and should not be a thing. "Front line soldier" or not, flying around faster than anyone or anything else shouldn't be allowed. I hope that skating is patched out of PC. It's an exploit and should be shunned as such

I dont mind titan skating as being a thing but when you have to use somthing outside of the game to do it that's when it becomes unfair

1 ReplyCheese. Exploit. Needs to either be removed from game or added to all classes on each platform. Skating, whether scroll or macro needs to be removed. It ruins pvp as the radar isnt meant to pick up players moving that fast. Breaks the game and gives a huge advantage, especially to shoulder charge ohk. Its also a huge advantage in comp that exploiters cant get to best ares of the map before intended.

Bring back titan skating from D1 on pc and console, make shoulder charge only one shot guardians 5 resilience or less.

You literally admitted to cheating which is can get banned for, I’d stop using macros immediately if I was you. If you must Titan Skate then use the mouse wheel like everyone else

Macro using will get you banned!!! I hate titan skating it breaks game balance and the engine flaw that allows it should be fixed but if you must do it use your mouse wheel it's not a macro so not against the rules.
