Yes and try to take 15 with you, I hear it gives you a damage buff of 00.4%.

Can confirm, I tried this and damage buff is real. Also enemy team morale when you wipe all four of them carrying 15 motes with nothing but a scout rifle and a grenade drops like 25%. Unfortunately, you will still lose your match.

Could be an effective means of hiding from an invader... hide in a corner their side; how many times would a defender look at the invaders motes? Still very risky, and a waste of an invasion perhaps... but very sneaky!

if im not mistaken there was a bounty or triumph at one point that actually told everybody to do exactly that no joke

Well chances are that you will be the prime target in that scenario, so it's a 'congratulations; you've defended yourself'... but as it is a triumph the mindset changes, and you go on the attack to get it done!
