I just got banned from Destiny 2, the list of events before the ban went like this
1) Duo Queue partner gets on
2) Im About 200 Glory away from getting Luna's Howl so I ask him if he'd like to duo
3) He wants to finish his Malfeasance quest so I help him in Gambit - we both play poorly
4) We play a round of quickplay to warm up ( Not sure if it's important but he spawned on the enemy team, if this did have to do with it I don't know why he wouldn't be banned too so I don't think it had any importance )
5) I log off to turn on my wifi extender as I realized it was off ( Don't think this influenced my ban either but I'm just trying to list everything I can )
6) We play and win like 3/4 Comp matches, bc we were on a winstreak I landed at 2108 Glory so I said "Lets drop by Shaxx real quick".
7) It wouldn't pop up on Shaxx and I checked the quest, it was still on the step "Reach Fabled"
8) I switched characters to go back to home screen hoping it would refresh the quest
9) Wouldn't let me log on and left me with a ban message
I feel it's also important to note that the only third-party application I had open and I believe installed as well is Discord, but I did allow warmind.io sync to my account although I doubt that would get me banned as it's pretty popular, I have 500+ hours which is a lot for me so I'd hate to be forced into starting fresh.
Ask me anything
Tell me if I missed anything important!
My Blizzard account is Corrupt#11111
I feel like this is so outrageous that something probably just bugged in their system, I would even allow them to do a full hardware scan if they needed too just to prove my innocence - please tell me if this is happening to anyone else similarly to the ban wave at the launch.

1 ReplyWe heard all this before. It's a mistake, I don't cheat, my wifi was glitched out, my sister was watching Netflix. None of that matters. You're banned and now if you want to play you will have to create a new account and repurchase the game and dlcs

11 RepliesBungie does not discuss bans and will not lift them. PC Bans are usually due to 3rd party software, such as cheat engine, running in the background. The system submits an auto-report with the information to the Bungie team. You'll have to create a new account and buy the game again if you wish to continue playing.
