PROUD OF MY DREDGEN TITLE
There is only one title in this game that i truly wanted and i achieved it last night after what seems to be a unholy grind. The title of Dredgen .
I have been playing destiny since D1 and have always had a fascination with the story of Dredgen Yor and Jaren ward .
The epic battle that Rezyl Azzir had on the moon with a hive wizard anf knight and the countless thrall that had him consumed in battle for 2 days in the total dark ,with only the flashes of his rose's bloom for light. That darkness that consumed him and therefore he took the title of Dredgen Yor. And the rose took it's final form into Thorn.
Many people who follow the lore consider Dredgen as a evil person because of his murderous rampage and also killing Jaren ward, But his struggle to confront the darkness was in a way very heroic and has a tale of falling into darkness that i believe we will see in D3.

Congrats you had RNG smile on you. I never saw the meatball while it auto-dropped the ship and sparrow, and not that it’s another idiotic RNG drop I haven’t had them drop. So I did what it took to earn it, now I’m just supposed to grind it endlessly hoping to get lucky. -blam!- that. This game is has gone to hell.

The story of Dredgen Yor, and the Shadows of Yor, is a failure to utilise the dark. Dredgen accidentally found himself corrupted by grafting hive bone to his hand cannon, which affected him mentally. The Shadows actively try to harness the dark, and have a terrible track record. Malfeasance seems to be a gun that does not share Thorn's corruptive influence, therefore it could be argued that the Drifter has succeeded where they failed. But the Malfeasance is not the Drifter's endgame, it was a happy accident.
