I don't want to spam this, this being the third installment of my wish-ender woes But I need to report this bug and ideally get it fixed for when the throne reopens. hopefully this is the right venue, and someone who can help sees this. TL;DR ~ beware halting your wish-ender progress by completing forsaken on an alt or resetting the shattered throne instance. UPDATE ~ I obtained the bow using my warlock instead and using their talisman, I am lucky I had an alt that was strong enough to grind through forsaken and the throne. bungie offered no support. story so far.... hunter (me) and 2 warlocks start the shattered throne, beat the ogre and find the statue of sjur eido. we all traded our awoken talismans to it and then got stuck at dul incaru. so we abandoned and then went to four horn gulch to get the ??? quest started and get the dreaming tokens. we return to shattered throne, tried dul incaru several times, abadoned and waited for an alt to reset the instance. my alt, my warlock. I loaded up my warlock monday and raced through the end of Forsaken, met spider, killed barons, avenged Cayde-6 again, got the broken talisman, fixed it, charged it, et viola. so when my friends returned from work I could reset our instance, yay. and so I did, I loaded up my warlock and my friend joined, we went to the throne and it was at the beginning, I only went to make him leader and change character and signed back in as my hunter. we could begin. so we did, we ran through the symbol rooms, dunked the first orb and killed the boss. my friends got their tokens charged and I merely assumed mine charged as well ( I really should have checked, I wasn't looking ) we got to the beams, sank the second orb, got to thrallways and died a few times, we redunked the beams orb every time to not mess up. and so we finally got thru the thrallways and dunked orb 3. we pressed on, beat the captain and went on to the ogre room. the final bosses.. this is when I noticed I had no dreaming tokens or talisman and we were tired and demoralized from the glitch that ate my chances at getting the wish-ender. we were able to get the arc charge to drop from the sneaky minotaur a few times but never summoned the third ogre, the adds kept killing us on the way to the statue. sleep awaited and the frustration stopped us here. in the end.. my fireteam friends have 2 of 3 dreaming tokens charged. I have neither a talisman nor any tokens in my hunters inventory. some time around the changing characters and finishing forsaken on my alt it must have wiped my wish-ender progress. I am left with just the new talisman I forged on my warlock alt, and I suppose the chance to start over with his talisman, but this should not have happened in the first place. my quest items should not have disappeared because the new talisman was created. seems like an oversight. I have tried exploring, going to postmasters, to spider, to petra, everything in-game I can think of to reaquire the talisman or tokens, there is no way that I can see. you can see that I completed the story ??? in my bungie history, but no way to restart it. if anybody knows how to fix or undo that, or if a Mod from Bungie can please contact me about this, I will be happy to provide any information to get this fixed before the next time it opens up. ( 3 ish weeks away ) I want the Wish-Ender. I want to break some eggs. Please, help me.
