This is the biggest load of absolute bullshit ever programmed into a quest is is the most frustrating garbage. Going form 10% to zero because of no team support being blocked form depositing, and a cross map kill so all progress is lost is absolute fracking garbage. This isn't "working" for something is a test in how fracking frustrated can I get being stuck grinding for this shit solo.

I agree. It's absolute bs. I went from being just fine at 16% to down to only 5% after a SINGLE. F*CKING. GAME

I did the entire Gambit part solo. Its very easy. No more than 5 motes at a time, do not get greedy. Invader lands, find a spot near you that you can backup against. This leaves you one less area to worry about. Hide. If one does get close then swords man, they never expect it. Easy Peasy. Now the bug about it not tracking.. yeah I got that too.. mine cleared by closing the game and reloading. I did this the first week it was available. Right in the mist of Sleeper madness. It's realy a simple quest. Don't get frustrated.

Did the motes part solo. The 10 wins were the worst part of the quest!
-
The 10 wins as a solo player were so much worse..the motes were the easiest

Dude that quest step is pretty much the easiest one. Later step wants team wipes, which is horrible because all it takes is someone invading and you are down a person to get that team wipe off of. You need to bank motes asap instead of running till you get full. I got the motes step in about 15 games or so and only had like one major setback of losing over 10 motes. On average you should be getting 5-10 motes per wave of enemies and if you bank as soon as you get 5-10 it will most likely put you banking before blockers start showing up. Even heading to bank when you hit 5 and enemies are still alive can help your team because it blocks other team for a bit and maybe lets another teammate slip another blocker in.

I deposited every time I ran near the bank... didn't matter if I only had 2 motes on me. Objective be damned, I had a quest to finish! LOL!
-
Dont be a dingus trying to push 15 motes then
-
Just deposit motes whenever you can and play safe. Deposit even if you have 4 motes or 9.
-
Yet people do it everyday, obtain the gun, with no problem 👍
-
Play safe and don't be aggressive. Bank your motes often to get through this step. I am on the last part of the quest (Lights Out), and most of my matches have had zero mosts lost.

Edited by ││█║▌│: 11/13/2018 12:58:24 PMI did the entire quest in 15 games, with 13 of them being wins as a solo player. I was expecting the quest to be hard with the amount of flack it has been getting, but it was incredibly easy. I used Nameless Midnight, EP shotgun, and a rocket launcher as a hammer Titan. Bank 5 motes or less, save heavy and shotgun for blockers, don't worry about stealing other peoples motes, keep an eye on the opposing players bar, keep an eye out on the info feed, don't wait for an invader to come through to hide, resist the urge to peek when an invader is present, and ALWAYS be prepared for a blocker on your way to the bank. Oh, and if you're up against a 3-4 stack, play extremely carefully unless it's clear they're not a stack of MLG pros using cheap weapons.

no its good. earn that exotic. learn to make progress without trying to rush and get 15 motes every time.

Edited by Whopping Dingers: 11/13/2018 12:34:23 PMThis weekend is a particularly bad time to do it as it the curse week and double infamy. I managed get in done this week by basically going for a large deposit and the beginning of each round and keeping an eye of for potential blocker spam. If you notice the enemy team not banking and their bar for motes held is over the invasion line, avoid collecting motes until they've done their blocker spam. Once the blocker spam is over this is your best chance to go for another big haul. If you want to do the large deposit at the beginning make sure for the rest of the round you help your teammates deal with mid adds. They may even be in the same boat as you.

This part is easy. Play smart, bank little and often, I set a limit of 5. If you’re struggling with this part the next stage is going to make you cry.
-
Yeah i don't understand the grief here. I did this easily solo, just bank as often as possible, don't bother going for 10-15 stacks. Use a shotgun to take out blockers.
-
1 ReplyYou're CHOOSING to play a team based mode solo. Stop crying and join a group or make one of your own. If you want TEAMWORK you should probably be part of a TEAM. Stop crying and start thinking.

3 RepliesThis is literally one of the easiest parts of the entire quest line. It’s simple. Bank, bank, bank. Never have more than 5 on you before banking them. NEVER EVER take a risk of carrying something moronic like 15. Just bank small and often. Super easy.
