Error code broccoli "graphics runtime detected a crash or loss of device" please help :/

Hello, First of all, I play on PC. I recently installed destiny 2 for free from the blizzard entertainment promotion thingy, and I have run into a problem I used to only get once in a while on another game, "CS:GO". The problem I run into every single time I turn on the game happens the same way every time. First, the game freezes and then I get a pixelated, glitched screen and then it goes completely black like its off, then after that it goes back on still in black and then I get error code broccoli. Last time I got the error, I got a glimpse of a green screen which was new. The strange thing is I only get the error once per session. For example, I would turn on the game for the first time and I play it and after 20-45 minutes, It does this. But after I open up the game again right after, It wouldn't do it for the rest of my session playing the game. I've searched many posts and all I see is the problem being solved for users with "nvidia" gpu's. I need help with the problem and my specs are: CPU: AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six-Core Processor Graphics chipset: AMD Radeon R7 200 Series with driver version Adrenalin 18.9.3 Ram: 8 GB DDR3 And I use Radeon Settings if that's necessary knowledge.

  • Is your card overclocked, it sounds as if the Driver Crashed if your game crashes like that again look into the windows notifications if something pops up there? It can also be VRAM related since the R7 is Relatively old and most models come with just 2 GB of VRAM which is the Minimum requirement but more often than not those minimum requirements are completely wrong and for the most part only guarantee you to run the game but not exactly "play" it. IT may also be a Driver related issue, you might try to use a differen't driver Version, for example, AMD as well as Nvidia release drivers with improvements for Games, there surely is a Driver shortly after Destiny 2 Launch. But considering the Age of your system, it might be time to look into upgrades, Last Gen Tech is getting cheaper every month(Except 10 series Nvidia).
