They look amazing on all of the characters, but are all so useless and circumstantial. They shouldnt just be swept under the rug. Please completely revamp them they look amazing and I dont want them to go unused for the entirety of D2.

1 ReplyEdited by Talk2MeToner: 11/14/2018 3:17:24 PMlol friendly reminder of D2 armor exotics at launch. Here was basically every exotic: Slightly decreases X ability cooldown, or decreases x subclass cooldowns. Helps if you use this one specific type of weapon. Or at best kills with X extend the time of x. They were -blam!-in pathetic. I might not agree that Vanilla D2 was as bad as some say but boy can I agree exotics were lackluster.
-
These exotics should be deleted from game, and the perk should be one attainable thru legendary armor. Armor needs better perks, nobody will ever use these cause they suck.
-
The Exotic(s) need to either be decent in their own right, or preferably be exceptional when used as a group. There could be stat boosts given by each Member: Recovery from Warlocks, Mobility from Hunters, and Resilience from Titans. The current ability could grant the user the benefit instead of its current function. Members nearby would then get an additional benefit based on the users class such as Titan giving melee energy, Warlocks granting grenade energy, and Hunters giving a Sprint and Mobility boost. I dunno, just spitballin, but there needs to be more to these and they need to be strong enough to encourage a team to use them and forgo other powerful Exotics.

5 RepliesI never understand the method behind creating exotics that are clearly never going to get used. Sure they've fixed a few but at some point someone must have thought they were great.
-
Lmao Bungie doesn't care
-
5 RepliesForget this and bring back heart of the praxic fire. With rez as its main perk!
-
They really need someone with more creativity and drive to make exotic armor perks. Weapons are on point but armor game is weak
-
1 ReplyI've never even seen more than one person using them at a time, kinda defeats the purpose of their main perk. I agree they need a total rework, if they want your whole fire team to use them, then the perk should be way more useful.
-
Literally UNUSED...I've never seen anyone use those once...agreed, why have worthless exotics in the game?
-
1 ReplyShould just scrap the exotics and make an aeon legendary armour set
-
1 Replyi used it one time for a nightfall because it was my highest light

I have an idea for Aeon Cult Exotics. Check it out. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/249624055/0/0

3 RepliesEdited by just a lil fella: 11/13/2018 12:59:45 AMWhat if they just dramatically increased the recharge rate of glass abilities and such? Titans can deploy their shileds much faster and they can tank more damage. Hunters get increased dodge speed. Warlocks get improved rifts.
-
Never tried it but if a 4 stack of well of radiance warlocks put their rifts in the same spot and all stand in them, they can constantly throw grenades if they all wear the gauntlets
-
I would suggest that instead of requiring team mate to also have Aeon equiped, it only requires that team mates run the same elemental CLASS.
-
1 ReplyGive them "The Life Exotic" perk and let us use em with one other exotic armor.
-
AMEN!!!
-
5 RepliesI have an idea... The perk on all 3 is now the same. -Using any ability reduces all ability cooldowns for nearby allies by 33% (within 15-20 meters). This effect is doubled if your ally is also an Aeon Cult member. You also gain more super energy from orbs of light.
-
Considering the other exotics we have in our Arsenal these things are terrible with a do a thing perk. I tried to make them work once but they are just terrible.
-
The main issue with them is it's an exotic that only really works if other players are also using it. However nobody uses it because there is literally no benefit to the player with it equipped if no one else is using it.
-
I kept getting them even in Y2... Lol.
-
Edited by Southern4x4: 11/12/2018 5:24:58 PMThe most beneficial perk everyone seems to ignore is the amount of resilience you gain with these - regardless of the Character.
-
3 RepliesI have a morbid curiosity of what a full Raid Fireteam of Titans using Aeon Safes with 5 Paragon Mods and Perpetuation Perk on Boots, would look like. Barricades, everywhere.
-
so many blue lasers
-
1 ReplySmallest of worlds, that. They look amazing, and the lore for them is pretty sweet. They need a little something something to really shine, ya know? In a topic thread over in gear, I suggested giving them the Life Exotic perk... I don't know if that be Overkill or under, frankly. Thoughts?
