How is it a player can go afk for 5 matches and not get kicked?

I can't go afk 1 round in gambit without getting kicked. I once had to use the bathroom in the middle of a match. When I returned, I discovered I was kicked from the match. My clan mates had to finish without me. Yet the game allowed 1 player to go afk for 5 matches without kicking him. The guy didn't move at all. I saved the pictures at the end of every round. I can't seem to upload them.

  • Those players generally have something in place to ensure the game detects some sort of interaction from them to prevent them from getting kicked for going AFK. I had the displeasure of getting one person in my team for gambit last week where they had zero score, (zero motes, zero kills, zero anything) and they had that for 37 consecutive gambit matches that were tracked on destinytracker.

  • It inflates the playerbase numbers. But then not doing anything about it deflates them, so damned if you do, damned if you dont. Which damned do you want?

  • He moved, you can’t tell me you stood there and stared at him for five matches to see if he moved at all... he moved enough that it didn’t kick him, he probably was there for a bounty and was eating or watching tv and didn’t feel like playing so he just supervised it and moved enough that it didn’t kick him.
