Rank resets on 27?
Can someone explain me why?
Why is Season 5 after only 2 months?
Why people who are grinding towards Redrix should loose all their Valour rankings because someone at Bungie thinks that a reset of ranks is good for the game?
Why people who are grinding towards Luna should loose their hard earned Glory points (battled thru ddos,3v4,stack teams,hate messages) just because someone from Bungie thinks it’s fun?
Are you gonna give instead of powerful gear free points every week then?

28 RepliesAfter doing 2 resets in one weekend without any multipliers active I can say 2 months is a ton of time. I have 18 resets right now, 9 of them last season and 9 of them this season. If you didnt get to 5 resets then you didnt really " grind " for the redrix at all. I could get 5 resets in 2 weeks with my eyes closed, stop wasting time here crying and go play the game

Because that's how seasons work in games. Blame Fortnite, we didn't even have seasons till that game did it.

6 RepliesI mean, a season is generally 3 months spread across Forsaken released on september 4th and November 27th is basically the third months end It just feels like its gine crazy fast because bungie added a ton if things to grind for in this season Still we get to keep the quests to earn our pinnacle weapons I dont think black armory will even add anything huge, it sounds like its just introducing a new slew of weapons So really itll probably be something along the lines of Destiny 2: Forsaken: part 2: [b][i]the guns got better[/i][/b]

The first season of the year is always the shortest since they want to evenly divide the holidays between them.

Just my two cents, but why do they feel the need to reset ranks ever? Just let us do it at our leisure.

It's actually going to reset after 12 weeks, which is 3 months. We're getting 3 DLCs this year, so the season are shorter, and we'll have 4 seasons instead of 3.

If the players know they have 2 years to get it, they will put it off until they want to get it. Put a short window on it, they will get in there and mix it up. next season, there will be a bunch of people back in there trying to get back up to 5500 and 2100. It should be crazy busy. I was lucky enough to win 9 games of comp in solo queue yesterday. Now I'm at 1744 glory. I hope that I can make it before the 27th. If I don't, then i'll have to make the 2100 climb next season. With the experience I've gained this season, the next grind to 2100 shouldn't be too bad.

5 RepliesOh maybe we forgot to copy you on the memo. You see Forsaken is actually not a fun hobby. It is a full time job with mandatory overtime. The paychecks are all RNG so you never know when or even if you’re going to get paid. We call them enhancement checks now. For some reason we don’t have enough employees.

And it wasn’t that hard. I just played a lot of pvp and did iron banner and comp. and before you know it. I’m resetting valor again.

Seasons reset with the new dlc you should know that by now. Also the redrix is a hell of a grind but not an unachievable one in two months. I should have mine by the 27th (it’ll be close) and I didn’t start the quest until I was already 600 (several weeks into the season).

I got three characters to 600. Earn pretty much everything I can get with the game. Honestly never wanted to grind for luna cause I'm in a big pvp person. But still the time was enough. I even join a clan a month after drop of forsaken Main character not even 540 at the time. Within a couple weeks I was 600 and working on my other characters. I'm pretty happy with what I've earn. Still got a few things I want to get ( the malfeasance) but even then still got a while

It's been 3 months, not 2. We've known since before it started it was only gonna last 3 months, we've known since before it started that the weapons were for season 4. We've had plenty of time to earn them

You will still have the quests in your inventory just no way to reobtain them if they are dismantled or, like with some, outright vanished.

It’s how it works. You’ve known for awhile already... If you don’t have either there is still plenty of time... Stop whining...
