I'm not new to looters, but I am new to Destiny and noticed my ammo kept disappearing every time i swapped weapons. I assumed it was a bug only to find out its a feature. How in the world does this make sense? I just lost all my main weapons ammo in the middle of a boss fight and ended up rage quiting when I couldn't do enough damage with my sidearm. After getting the game for free i thought if I liked it I might end up getting the DLC. But with "features" like losing ammo when you switch guns I think I'll just go ahead and move along. I can't believe this is something the community just accepts, but hey, like I said, i'm new to Destiny and from what I read it's always been this way. It just confirms that this franchise is not for me. Thanks for the free copy but you can have it back now.

Edited by Exo_Strangers_Only_Fans: 11/12/2018 9:46:25 PMIf you change from a shot gun which uses shotgun shells to a sidearm which uses primary bullets than obviously your going to lose ammo but the real question is why did you swap off a shot gun while versing a boss And also not sure if I read correctly but why would anyone switch from a shotgun to a peashooter

Why are you switching guns in the middle of a boss fight?

1 ReplyYea it’s a feature, a really bad feature, along with the architects and the boss stomp.

12 RepliesEdited by ErraticHail2012: 11/10/2018 10:14:04 PMIt's a feature, and not *losing ammo would kinda be cheap, especially in PvP. Imagine someone using a sniper, and switching mid fight to a shotty WITHOUT *losing ammo. Just get more ammo

1 ReplyAmmo does not simply disappear when you swap weapons. Nice sh1tpost though. Not top tier, but solid.

7 RepliesNormally I'd look to defend a player when they have a complaint, but you're only a level 5. Maybe try playing the game for longer than 25 minutes before deciding on something so minor. You're not supposed to be switching guns mid fight anyway. If losing a percentage of ammo from switching guns is this big an issue for you, I don't know how the Hell you've made it this far in life at all.

u don't know nothing about this game of course u do

Edited by Uriel Draigo: 11/10/2018 12:02:30 AMThis ain't it, chief. Enemies drop enough ammo bricks that you don't have to worry about running out. In case you do completely run dry, Ghost will transmat some ammo to you. Destiny 2 has some issues, and the ammo economy WAS one of them. But if that's the only thing that put you off, you should consider giving the game another chance. But it's totally up to you.
