There isn’t any and bungie should fix this. I get 1 mod component around every 20 pieces I dismantle, if that. So I’m looking on average of 200 pieces of legendary gear before I can get one simple mod at the tower. Now! Yes they’ve changed that if you dismantle a weapon/armor with a mod on it, you can get it back. This is unique and helps a lot BECAUSE they’ve changed the system. Can we please ADD the old system where we cash in glimmer for weak tier mods and build them back up? I’d much prefer that because now I’m only spending for Spider’s resources and it’s a very low gratification at best. Destiny community already has tooooo much to grind for, so please upvote to get this is the devs faces. If you were baited - go ahead with a down vote - lol

Dismantle mods you don’t need so mobility resilience, etc. They guarantee 1 mod component sure but if you have a lot like I do they add up.

Yeah I don't know why people were so focused on MW cores when it takes 10 components to buy 1 mod and you only get 1 back if you dismantle it. Hands down the worst currency problem in the game since forsaken launch.

Yeah, I’ve only been playing for 6 weeks, just got to 600. Mod Components quickly has become the rarest item in the Economy. Now, give me a few thousand legendary shards and I can get a lot of mods through the Spider/ Mercury Seed/ Brother Vance Farm. But like I’ve been telling people: It’s not Cores you should obsess over, it’s those damn Mod Components! Or concentrate on getting a truck ton of Legendary Shards. From my scientific study of the farm I mentioned ☝️. I figure every 30 shards you have can be traded for on Mod Component.
