Bungie - This is my personal sampling of the exotic fix, and sure as hell doesn't seem to be working. The update does not GUARANTEE a new drop, it's not a knockout list like Eververse's prismatic bullshit. But the update is doing the same exact thing it has done before, AND it's still dropping weapons more than anything. Here is my list so far of exotic drops since last Tuesday: DARCI Tractor cannon Two Tail Fox - already had this Contraverse Hold gloves - This is the only new drop Transversive steps Tractor cannon again Mask of the Quiet One Graviton Lance Foetracer DARCI again Crimson The drops haven't even been Y2 repeats. It's still Y1, and mostly weapons as opposed to armor. And I am willing to bet there are other people running into the same issue that I am, still getting Y1 drops more than Y2 drops, and still getting repeats more than new items.
