Hello Everyone D1 Vet here wanting to talk about a huge problem that is currently happening. A lot of cheaters have been plaguing the crucible. A huge number of people who dos other players in the crucible especially in competitive and trials and we constantly report these cheaters and no action is taken. This has been a problem that has been stewing since d2 launch and trials and competitive was hit the worse. We constantly report them but yet to see any action taken against the cheaters. Bungie please take action and punish the cheaters and implement a huge ban wave.

Our Game Security Team issues an escalating series of enforcement actions twenty four hours per day, and we also issue some enforcement actions in big waves. We don't announce our enforcement actions because it gives cheaters information on how our detection works. Since November 1st, we’ve issued enforcement actions to 1,120 players for violating our terms of service, including cheat programs, network manipulation, and DDoS. Our Game Security Team is always updating our monitoring tools to detect ever-changing attacks, and a human verifies every punishment before it is issued. As always, if you believe to have encountered someone cheating, please use this contact form to report suspects accordingly.

There’s nothing more ridiculous than a player using a burn or the like controller complaining about cheaters. I trust you use a regular one!
-
Cheater emblem that they can’t take off.
-
Wasn’t this pinned for a few days and now it’s not lol. Security team hard at work I see
-
This is been going on since 2017 and we still getting kicked out from the match and the game entirely because of these attacks. And also we loose points and win streak.Bungie punishing the solo players for “quitting “ https://www.gamerevolution.com/news/355113-bungies-response-destiny-2s-ddos-attacks-angered-community

Hey, what is going on guys. D1 veteran here, back at it again with another crispy complain post. However this time, I'm going to lead the post with the quote "D1 veteran here" and follow up with a generic statement that everyone agrees with anyway. Alright, let's take this into the forums and see how well it performs. If you enjoyed my post... don't forget to like, comment, share with your friends and subscribe for more posts just like this one. Peace out.

They just need to add in a tool like the devs of Smite have, where it'll send a notification to you saying, "action has been taken against someone you reported" if they actually do something to someone you reported.
-
Also being a D1 "beta" players just shows u were dumb enough to buy a bare bones game.
-
Literally got ddos'd for the first time in comp the other day. Last 3 games were wins with 0 kds. And at least one of them was on a smurf. Cheating will not stop until Bungie bans IP addresses.
-
Who cares if your a D1 player
-
Why do you feel the need to start with “hI gUyS D1 vEt hErE”
-
Hello everyone D1 vet here enhancing my following paragraph by +5 Relevance.
-
"D1 vet here" LMFAO. Lemme read this EXTRA careful 🤣🤣
-
Do console bans. Make it hurt.
-
Honestly wats more important is stopping the reasons people feel the need to do these things in the first place. The incentive to cheat being there is the root cause of the problem...the incentive to cheat is the fact that the two most op primaries in pvp are locked behind a ladder mode that is very very punishing
-
For a company that created Halo, one of the most iconic shooter games on the planet; they dropped the ball hard as -blam!- with PVP. Thankfully PVE has really picked up which is a plus because nobody would play this game otherwise. Hopefully people just stop playing crucible, its broken.
-
Bungle has been soft as butter on a hot plate in regards to cheating since Destiny launched. Expect no changes. Work is hard.
-
Is that cheater *pottery-making material* is *piece of manual transmission* still not being banned?
-
Edited by Hatter: 11/9/2018 6:49:43 PMI played a 6 stack last night, all with not forgotten and luna, and all network manipulating. It was extremely frustrating because every time I shot at them they moved very VERY oddly to dodge the attacks, or took no damage. Please. Yes. Get rid of them.
-
I know the odds of this happening to me are low. I was ddossed legit 1 time in destiny 1 and I played that a hell of a lot more than D2. It’s enough to know that if this is happening in comp. I’m staying out of comp, 1 gun just isn’t worth it to me. D3 should have dedicated servers. D1 and D2 should have had dedicated servers.
-
Edited by Doc: 11/12/2018 2:01:15 PMMaybe they arnt cheating if they haven't been ban ? I live in the competitive playlist and have only heard 1 case of DDosing.
wouldn't say its a huge problem .
Lol played competitive last night 3/4 matches are 3v4 or 2v4 I even had this game where me and 3 other guys are stomping this 4 man stacks leading the game to 2-0 survival mode and suddenly 2 guys in my team got booted I wonder why 🤔👀 they tried to reconnect but they cant as always after that scenario game change that 4 stacks instantly wrecking me and the other guy comp. is garbage as always no wonder ppl doesn’t give a crap to try this mode unless you’re a sweaty or a -blam!-ing cheap cheater 🤷♂️🤷♂️
-
Maybe ban the lag too. That’s the most frequent cheat that I experience.
-
When I dont even have the time to raise my gun let alone fire a shot and they can cross a map before I can than you know they are cheating. Bungie really doesn't care as long as the cash keeps coming in
-
Wouldn't have any idea, who's cheating and who's not in a Crucible match. Just saying. What's giving them away? I am new to Destiny (lvl 20 with just around 10 matches in Crucible) and can't tell, whether people are trampling over my team because they are much better skilled (and 97% of all players might be, atm) or because they are cheating. Right, Crucible matches DO appear a great bit unbalanced to me, so far. But, I don't think that is for having had cheaters in them.

Gambit is as bad
